I think what you did is great. I’m in a restaurant now, but I will watch at home. Thanks for the post.
The optics for Von der Leyen and Starmer on Trump’s visit were humiliating for both of them.
They both had to pay a visit to Trump at his golf course in Scotland, where Trump was holding court - and Starmer did so in his own country!
No wonder Putin called them “dogs waiving their tails tenderly at the master’s feet.”
One thing is certain with Trump - there is never a static moment. The guy is always on the move, working a problem and issue for the betterment of the world. There’s no time for vacations or spending time on a beach recliner for this guy. He’s old school all the way like my dad who never took a vacation during his productive years as a farmer.
Nobel Peace Prize is on the shelf.
Your dad’s working years created the backbone of this country. Kudos to him. It was a great generation.
Looks like the two combatants may have finally ‘blooded’ themselves up to the point where common sense now rules the day.
Or, Trump values the Nobel prize more than the people of Ukraine
If we can work out a Peace deal here, friendly relations with Russia can be restored. China and Russia are sending thier hordes here. They deserve high tarrifs.
Europe will work overtime to try and scuttle it Leaches.
Europe will work overtime to try and scuttle it
As well as the Democrats and the RINOs.
When I saw the way Putin greeted Witkoff (yesterday?) I thought something was up. Putin was very friendly, bobbing his head at Witkoff’s greeting, big handshake, he almost bowed!
Zelensky sure doesn’t care about the value of Ukrainians. They are cannon fodder for him.
Trump has successfully out maneuvered their efforts to take him down and Trump has effectively transferred the support for Ukraine to the EU.
We will sell the EU weapons that they can provide to Ukraine but they have to financially support the Ukraine which is only fair since we took the lead for the first 3 years of the war.
And Trump has called the bluff of the EU and domestic opponents calls for harsh sanctions with a ju jitsu move that flips the script on sanctions so that the people who feel the hardest bite of the new Russian economic sanctions are the Chinese and EU proxy war mongers.
If Trump can get a decent agreement with Russia the need for Zelensky’s declaration of martial law will be at an end.
Since the only thing keeping a very unpopular Zelensky in office is the suspension of elections via martial law, the end of martial law is probably the end of Zelensky as well.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
I remain cautiously optimistic that President Trump's team is going to bring this one home and stop the carnage in Ukraine.
Yes!
“””Nobel Peace Prize is on the shelf.”””
They will never give it to President Trump. They will give it Kamala because she unburdened them from the burdening they were burdened with. Plus, she is “black”.
Dream on. There will be no deal without Zelensky.
