A woman who was severely beaten following a street brawl in Cincinnati is suffering from a 'very bad' brain trauma after the horrific attack.

The woman, known only as Holly, was attacked in the downtown area of Ohio city alongside an unidentified man - and the shocking attack was captured on camera.

In her first remarks since the assault, Holly, who is still severely bruised, said it has left her with trauma to the brain.

In an emotional message, she said: 'I want to say thank you to everyone for all of the love and support.

'It's definitely what's keeping me going. And you have just brought back faith in humanity.

'It's been very, very hard, and I'm still recovering. I still have a very bad brain trauma. God bless you all. Thank you.'

Political commentator Benny Johnson shared the video to his X profile after he organized an online fundraiser for her, which has already raised $168,000.

According to the page Holly is a single working-class mother and is out of work due to her injuries as well as living in an undisclosed location due to threats on her life.

It also adds that is suffering from a severe concussion as well as hemorrhaging, with the money raised going to help her medical and legal bills.

Images had emerged earlier this week of her extensive injuries with both sides of her face were extremely bruised following the assault.

Her bottom lip was also cut open slightly, with dark bruises seen around her neck and upper torso.

The update from Holly comes after a fourth person was arrested in connection with ...

Thank you for posting this.

She has been in my prayers with the other victims.

No offense to this innocent woman but is she really qualified to tell the media about her injuries? She may be worse off than she says.

Medical people should be reporting the details for her.

I have a strong feeling she has serious brain damage and may have a returning crisis point such as the mob beaten man in Detroit Steven Utash who later tried to sound brave and optimistic in his hospital bed but he had to be put into a medical coma due to bleeding in his brain. He was never the same.

And Reginald Denny had to re-learn how to talk and how to barely walk again.
Why does she need money for “legal bills”? Is someone daring to use lawfare on her?

Also all crime victims are not given tax money or help with their huge medical bills for hospital and rehab. The victims have to pay after the small insurance money coverage is used. Emergency room victims have big bills to pay later.

The problem is not just the attackers.

The city is run by demonrats, from the mayor to city council police chief (female) and they are RUINING Cincinnati. Their response to this beat down was beyond reprehensible. No accountability and no solutions.

I thought she was dead.

She had the open eyed vacant look that my precious wife had when she died suddenly at home with me. Brought back terrible memories.

We need to bring back straight talk. When we see the peacocks (neon hair colors) we have to say something that shocks them like, “my bird has the same color green in her wing feathers,” or, “My, did you have to match that color to a specific Crayola?” Nothing hateful, but make them think about it. I blame the Millennials for not bullying their geeks and nerds. Gen X did our part!!

“I have a strong feeling she has serious brain damage”

Yes, my first thought seeing that horrific beating was TBI and her never being the same again.

That woman said to be the police chief looks like she would be in over her head running a middle school lunchroom.

Fewer than half the US states have the death penalty.

The average time between sentencing and execution has increased significantly in recent years, often exceeding 15 years. This delay is primarily due to the complex and lengthy appeals process, including state and federal habeas corpus proceedings.

Some inmates have spent over 20 years on death row.

One inmate in Texas spent 31 years on death row before execution, according to CBS News.

—Death Penalty Information Center

The Christian Science Monitor reported that the DELAY caused by the lawyers and appeals makes it “cruel and unusual punishment” under the 8th Amendment as contended by SCOTUS justices Breyer and Stephens and opposed by Clarence Thomas, and other cases afterward.

“Cincinnati woman”

A FR thread posted a day or two after the beating, showing her injuries, stated she was German and had flown back home.

Was this correct?
