“Oklahoma Introduces ‘America First’ Test for Teachers Moving from Liberal States”
Babylon Bee could have a lot of fun with this test:
“If a boy produces his junk, what is the proper response from the teacher.”
If the job candidate says “cut it off”, then that should be a mark against him.

This is impressive and important.
Love visiting my neighboring State across the Red River, especially Broken Bow. Nothing like having a like minded neighbor.

Americans winning.
Maybe. First off, I'm in favor of such a test. But the immediate question is how effective will it be? Which raises the next question of how could a leftist teacher beat the test?
I could easily imagine leftist teachers responding to the test with the 'right' answers, only to go into the classrooms with an activist agenda absolutely at odds with the intent of the test. How do you prevent that? There are ways: Inspection/monitors while the teacher are teaching, review of assignments/grading, etc. But the test will not, in itself, prevent the 'true believers' of the fanatic left from trying to 'serve a higher truth' with indoctrination.
The ultimate fix is to establish accountability between the performance of the students - particularly on tests that are themselves reviewed to ensure they celebrate the American idea - and the teachers who are supposed to have prepared them. There is a big whine about standardized tests because the leftists say that they are required to 'teach to the test' rather than teach students more broadly. However, on things like American ideals, I think teaching to the test is just fine . . . as long as the test itself does not become a basis for leftist indoctrination. Right now in Oklahoma, the school superintendent is trying to do the right thing. But all it takes is a single, lying, leftist idealogue to 'update' the test for both teachers and students, and all of this will be for naught.

The Okies do need something. I can’t believe they hired that maggot who murdered that mother and father walking their two daughters through a park to be a school teacher. It’s time to make the death penalty mandatory. Screw the liberals. We put down rabid dogs don’t we? It’s time to start scraping the scum off of our streets.

Just practice for the test. This is why you need trusted principals or some such to monitor the classes and classwork.

Which raises the next question of how could a leftist teacher beat the test? If done well, I don't think so. The woke would need to know the conservative position.

Yes, they will. Better to look at voter registration, I think. Sad state of affairs, and probably outside the law, but could help.

This should be done nationwide
at least 30 years ago.

The problem centers at teacher’s colleges and the bases for credentialing and accreditation.

The teachers taking the test will lie.
It is better to examine their voting history to determine which primaries they participated in, review their social media activity and internet search history, and investigate their political donations.
Additionally, interviews should be conducted with family members, friends, neighbors, clergy, former students, K–12 classmates, medical providers, former romantic partners, and mothers-in-law.

(Pssst: $50k doesn’t sound like much to a teacher from a blue state!)
