A sicko admitted he kicked his friend’s dog until it died then lit its dead body in the street — but was released from jail thanks to New York’s lax bail laws, Queens prosecutors said Wednesday.
Isaiah Gurley, 29, was cut loose on supervised release pending trial as he faces a slew of charges connected to the sickening animal abuse of a pit bull that he was dog-sitting.
Gurley, of Queens, told police after his arrest Monday he had been caring for the pooch for several days before he unleashed kicks on the canine until it stopped moving, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Post.
“I killed the dog by kicking it to death,” Gurley said, according to the complaint. “And I burned the dog’s body after it was already dead.”
Gurley was spotted allegedly hauling the pit bull into an Ozone Park street, where he poured accelerant on the animal and left the body to burn before dawn on Thursday.
Authorities found the charred remains on the dog lying on the street, according to the complaint.
During the investigation, cops tracked down surveillance footage of Gurley allegedly stealing a bottle of oil from a store that was used for crime, the complaint states.
*** While Gurley was indicted on aggravated animal cruelty, fifth-degree arson, reckless endangerment and petit larceny, none of the charges are bail eligible under state law.
He could spend up to two years in prison if convicted of the charges. His next court date is Sept. 17.

Why isn’t he being charged with a federal crime!??
Yes, former President Donald Trump signed the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture (PACT) Act into law on November 25, 2019.
Key aspects of the PACT Act
Criminalizes Intentional Animal Cruelty: This bill expands on existing animal cruelty laws by making certain acts of intentional animal crushing (burning, drowning, suffocating, impaling or otherwise subjecting an animal to serious bodily injury) a federal crime.
Federal Jurisdiction: It allows federal law enforcement to investigate and prosecute cases...snip AI
If real, that MCM backpack he’s wearing is $850
Well, come on, now. He admitted it didn’t he? Maybe momma told him, “You won’t get in trouble if you tell the truth”. He gets extra credit for that, doesn’t he?
Someone doing that to a dog would have no problem doing the same thing to a person.
But he’s on “supervised release”. I suppose that will set him straight.
Or not.
Mamdami the muslim, will give him a reward for getting rid of a dog.

This is again making certain people in the community look bad.
There was a period in the 1980s in which the Ann Arbor News had a stated policy of not publishing a picture of a suspect or convicted criminal unless they were white.
This was to reduce the racism daily crime stories were supposedly increasing. At that time the paper allowed letters to the editor.
“supervised release”
By whom?
The USA is devolving in to Haiti.
“There was a period in the 1980s in which the Ann Arbor News had a stated policy of not publishing a picture of a suspect or convicted criminal unless they were white.”
Multnomah County Oregon (Portland) stopped publishing mugshots because so many “People of Color” were being “unfairly represented.” In a city of only 6% of them most of the mugshots were them or hispanics. The rest were the usual blue hair antifa types that frequented the jail and never got prosecuted by the DA. Of course, the white middle age guy with a DUI gets front page.
If Curtis Sliwa seriously wants to win, he should use this incident to analyze and say how he would have handled it differently than what is now allowed under the current mayor. Speak up, Curt. This animal cruelty presents a politicians opportunity to define yourself in the public eye. It has nothing to do with Guardian Angels great deeds of long ago. This is a hot topic for a few days more.
Everybody understands it
How can you kick a pitbull without it attacking you. I think there’s more to the story, like poison.
I want to vomit.
My hope is that the killer gets what’s coming to him.
It may be surprising to most people , but not all Pit Bull dogs are naturally combative. Some get so used to obeying their Masters or whoever shows a dominant, Alpha personality, that the dog will remain submissive when yelled at, even shy and skittish, waiting for their Master to calm down again, and pat them gently on the head.
Most Pit Bull dogs I have been around, seem to have very good memories about how certain people tend to treat them. They usually know exactly who you are, if there was a previous encounter.
This POS should get exactly what he did to the dog, oh and that part about him burning the dog after it was dead? BULLSHIT!
That fits my idea of what he deserves just fine.
Someone who kicks an animal to death and burns it, pre or post mortem, is too dangerous for this world, and gots to go. That the “criminal justice system” just let him walk is insane.
He probably “liberated” it from some evil corporation…
