Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein, urged the Supreme Court on Monday to overturn her sex trafficking conviction as her attorney simultaneously made overtures to President Trump.
“We are appealing not only to the Supreme Court but to the President himself to recognize how profoundly unjust it is to scapegoat Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein’s crimes, especially when the government promised she would not be prosecuted,” attorney David Oscar Markus said in a statement.
How did government promises work out for the [feather] Indians?

Former Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz says Maxwell is serving the 20 year prison sentence that was supposed to be served by Epstein.
He doesn’t explain how grooming and tricking young girls into sex for pedophiles is not worth going to prison for.
Either she rots in jail or she gives up names that lead to many arrests and most of the victims finally get justice. It’s a reasonable trade off and it’s not like she hasn’t done any time. It would be worth it.

To be consistent, Maxwell is perfectly entitled to a pardon of a crime where there is, supposedly, no victim and no perpetrator. Indeed, Trump and his useless AG have told the public there is nothing to see in the Epstein case and have prosecuted NO ONE. After promising during his campaign to reveal everything Epstein.

Robert Maxwell was not "confirmed" to be anything, actually.
He was a fascinating individual. Escaped Czechoslovakia in 1940, then joined their army in exile. Then joined British forces and fought against the Nazis, even earning a Military Cross - presented by Montgomery himself - for "storming a German machine-gun nest" in January 1945.
After the war, in 1948, he used his Czech contacts to arrange for Czech guns, ammunition and aircraft to be sent to Israel to fight Arabs in their 1948 war of independence.
The UK Foreign Office "suspected" Maxwell of having links to the KGB and Mossad, but all they could actually prove was that he had links to MI6 itself. He likely did work for the Mossad, given his prior assistance in arming them. But it was never proven.
Robert Maxwell died in 1991, before his daughter started her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (1993).
