Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, is calling on the Justice Department (DOJ) to charge former senior national health adviser Anthony Fauci with lying to Congress to test whether former President Biden’s pardon of Fauci will hold up in court.
“I do believe Anthony Fauci committed a felony by lying to Congress,” Paul told pro-President Trump activist Charlie Kirk in an interview when asked whether Biden pardon’s signed by autopen would hold up in court.
“You have to charge him with a felony, take him to court and then the court will decide whether or not the pardon is upheld,” he continued. “You can argue until you’re blue in the face that you can’t do autopens and that maybe the president wasn’t aware of it. But the only way to actually do this is to charge someone who has been pardoned.”
The Kentucky Republican added, “I think Anthony Fauci is the most likely to be chargeable. There are other people — Hunter Biden could be charged as well — but someone has to be charged.”
Paul says Fauci testified before Congress “in a very vigorous and heated and animated way” that the National Institutes of Health never funded gain-of-function virus research in Wuhan, China.
“This is directly contradicted by the actual people who were involved in the funding,” the senator said.
Other Republicans, however, have expressed skepticism about challenging the autopen pardons after Biden told The New York Times that he personally approved them.
“I made every decision,” Biden told The Times earlier this month.

A better idea is to simply bring him back before congress, so he can lie again and THEN the past pardon wont help him.

Paul voted against the BBB, now he’s waited what he thinks is proper amount of time and wants everybody to go along with him after he DIDN’T go along when it mattered......I’m sick of this little one way shit, and I for one hope the DOJ ignores his request.
I agree...The Dems are using the Nixon Pardon as their basis for pre-crime pardons. But we knew, more or less, what the charges against Nixon would be.

So did Bill Clinton. So what. He’s living high on the taxpayer horse with his $246,424 annual unearned gift plus the following:
Office Space and Staffing: Funding for office space, equipment, and staff to assist with post-presidency duties, which includes responding to mail and speaking requests.
Travel Expenses: Reimbursement for travel related to their official duties as representatives of the U.S. government.
Secret Service Protection: Lifetime Secret Service protection for themselves and their spouses (unless they remarry), with children receiving protection until age 16.
Health Benefits: Eligibility for the Federal Employees Health Benefits program if they were enrolled for at least five years.
State Funerals: Guaranteed ceremonies with full honors and the option to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
There is no way congress is going to let Fauci bite the big one as he won’t go down alone. But he is another Epstein candidate. And both parties are filthy.

Unfortunately, I think Fauci is home free. He’s evil. But he’s no dummy. He knows which way the wind is blowing now. So if he’s called to testify again, he’ll probably just invoke his rights under the 5A.
The 5A can be swept aside, but only if he’s given immunity. Then we might learn something about those terrible days. But Fauci himself can’t be touched.
Oh, and his pardon from Biden will certainly be upheld. The courts are very reluctant to interfere with a clear-cut Presidential power.

A written pardon by the President is not required. The use of the autopen was only to leave a paper trail.
Military tribunal.
Hang him for making and deploying a deadly bioweapon. Treason is the second charge.

As far as I know, any government act requires documentation.
There is written documentation...and is when the autopen is used.
