IAC, the Mexican government, several years ago, stated that up to 40% of its population was inside the U.S.
That works out to be about 60-million wetbacks in the U.S.
Certain industries (such as agriculture) should issue visas for guest workers. Obviously, they should go home, get the visa at the American embassy in their country.
Trump will probably do this when the time is right.

I was gonna suggest in the neighborhood of 30-50 million, but yeah, 60 million is a good estimate too.
And the hacks in the cities are exactly right: instilling fear is essential. If you never know if mama or papa are coming home when they go to work because they may get picked up, grabbing the cash and self deporting can look like a good option
