New Yorker Review of CIA Book Pretends Russian Collusion Hasn't Been Disproven

How can it be that in 2025, some leftists are still pretending that Russian collusion is a theory that hasn't been disproven? That it's not "fully digested"? There's still hope, even if "clarity never came."

Such was the case with Keith Gessen, contributing writer for New Yorker magazine, who was reviewing a book bout the CIA, "The Mission: The CIA in the 21st Century," written by Tim Weiner (no relation to Carlos Danger aka Anthony Weiner).

Waves of Trump derangement flowed from Gessen in his Wednesday screed, "What Will Become of the C.I.A.?." The subtitle gives us a hint of TDS in the story, "The covert agency has long believed in the power of knowing one’s enemy. But these days the threats are coming from above." So who would be issuing the threats "coming from above?" Yes, the one about whom Gessen (and Weiner) is obsessed. So fasten your seatbelts.

They just can't let go of their beloved Trump-Russia Collusion HOAX even though it has been proven to be FAKE NEWS. Same reason reporters who won Pulitzers for reporting on Trump-Russia collusion refuse to return them.

“””Same reason reporters who won Pulitzers for reporting on Trump-Russia collusion refuse to return them. “””

Which is why the Pulitzer and Nobel prizes are meaningless these days.

Sure. They pretended for four years that PDJT hadn’t been elected President.

There’s an audience for that position, just like there’s an audience for the Flat Earth theory, and the Man Never Walked On The Moon theory.

Isn’t the dem mantra when accused of something: “There is no proof.”? In this case there is no proof of Trump-Russia Collusion.

Does Keith Gessen believe Jussie Smollett was attacked by two Trump supporters at 3 AM on the Southside of Chicago - - wearing RED MAGA hats? How stupid is he?

Their vindictive impeachments of Trump were malicious and meaningless too.
Democrats are evil, small goblins. If life were LOTR, they would be Orcs.

"There may not be homes for old wizards of Armageddon, but surely there is space for them on MSNBC."

The Wizards of Armageddon (Stanford Nuclear Age Series) Paperback – August 1, 1991

This is the untold story of the small group of men who have devised the plans and shaped the policies on how to use the Bomb. The book (first published in 1983) explores the secret world of these strategists of the nuclear age and brings to light a chapter in American political and military history never before revealed.

Virtually all of the people who still use the Legacy Media for their news still believe that Trump colluded with Russia.

It is for that reason, and THAT REASON ALONE, that the legacy media will never retract that claim.

Intel agencies are thoroughly embedded in the mainstream media. The CIA psyops cut out the middle man and simply became the news. The Church Committe exposed the CIA's MSM infiltration in 1975. Just imagine how much better intel agencies became at saturating and controlling all media in the past 50 years.

Operation Mockingbird, a systematic propaganda campaign with domestic and foreign journalists operating as CIA assets and dozens of US news organizations providing cover for CIA activity,[8] confirming earlier stories that charged that the CIA had cultivated relationships with private institutions, including the press.[9] Without identifying individuals by name, the Church Committee stated that it found 50 journalists who had official, but secret, relationships with the CIA.[9]

The genesis of Obama’s depraved anti-Trump plot began with Hillary Clinton.
<><>On July 26, 2016, Hillary allegedly approved an illicit scheme to sully her political opponent
<><>she fabricated a plot about Trump “colluding with Russia” to rig the election.
<><>Hillary’s bogus smear was intended to distract from her own burgeoning email scandal.
<><>Hillary’s campaign commissioned and funded a lie-filled dossier supplied by Clinton confederates.
<><>The CIA discovered what Hillary had done and immediately alerted the Obama White House.
<><>two successive meetings took place on July 28 and Aug. 3, 2016,
<><>then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed then-president Obama and other top officials,
<><>including VP Biden, Dir of Natl Intelligence James Clapper, and FBI Director James Comey
<><>Brennan’s handwritten notes recounted Clinton’s nefarious plan
<><> she would vilify Donald Trump claiming interference by the Russian security service
<><>From that point on, it was a closely guarded high level Democrat secret.
<><>It was all a Democrat hoax, and the above-named participants well knew it.
<><>Yet, none of them had the integrity to step forward to tell Congress or Americans the truth.
<><>they dumbly colluded in silence
<><>Comey’s FBI acolytes launched a bogus investigation dubbed “Crossfire Hurricane.”
<><>They shamelessly weaponized US govt authority and contorted the law to persecute Trump.
<><>the fake “collusion narrative” was leaked to the Trump-hating media.
<><>yet the carefully planned Russia hoax failed to prevent Trump from winning the presidency,
<><> thus the same malevolent Democrat adversaries doubled down on the Clinton-financed scheme.

The new documents released by Gabbard show that a Dec. 8, 2016 draft of the President’s Daily Briefing (PDB) assessed that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.”

But that conclusion, compiled by top intelligence agencies, did not conform to the vengeful Hillary’s “Trump collusion narrative.” Comey and the others apparently scuttled the PDB and concocted an alternative “get Trump” plan.

There is a lot of stuff that can’t be disproven. I’ve even heard it is impossible to prove a negative.

“Lack of proof is an indication of proof?”

If there was proof it wouldn’t be a conspiracy.
