Europe still has the power of… what, exactly?
Brussels Signal ^ | 7/18/25 | Anthony J. Constantini

President Donald Trump abruptly reversed course earlier this month when he decided to send Patriot missiles, along with other possibly offensive weaponry, to Ukraine, provided that European nations pay the United States for them. Trump also announced that he would place 100 per cent tariffs on Russia if, after 50 days, Russian President Vladimir Putin had failed to move to a ceasefire.

The shift irritated some on the American Right, who wish to see Europe do more on a war which directly affects them, but it pleased the Ukrainian government and pro-Ukrainian voices in the United States.

But for some in Europe, however, it was not enough. Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (as close as the EU gets to a “foreign minister”) complained about Trump’s decision, saying, “We would like to see the US to share the burden” [sic]. And Denmark’s foreign minister whined about the 50 day period, saying that it was “rather long.”

These are relatively small statements, but they so perfectly highlights everything that is wrong with how the European Union approaches the Russo-Ukrainian War, relations with the United States, and even foreign policy itself.

The EU has nothing, no natural resources, metals, commodities, energy to speak of. They must buy most everything needed for war from resource rich nations.

Europe’s time is over. They just don’t know it yet.

Yes, and that is compounded by the Green scams.

It has the power to self-destruct which it has been doing for a while now.

Don’t be too pleased with yourself. The US has drunk the same muslim poison as Europe. It just is not quite as metastasized here as there.

As they say, the dose makes the poison. Europe chugged it like cold beer on a hot day.

They have Billions in frozen Russian assets which will pay for the weapons, Ivan. Happy to let you know. Try to keep up.

” “We would like to see the US to share the burden” [sic]. “

Why?
Its a European war in Europe, why should American tax payers pay for it?

"And Denmark's foreign minister whined about the 50 day period, saying that it was “rather long.”"

Nope.
America has no business imposing sanctions on Russia for a corrupt sleazy country like Ukraine, who's president Zellensky supported Harris in the elections.

ROFLMAO. Yes, the EU has “nothing” other than a $30 trillion economy. Meanwhile, Putinist Russia, the apple your eye, despite being the biggest country in the world by far only has an economy the size of a US state. Putin’s regime only continues to exist due to the financial benevelence of the EU. No EU market access for Russia = no Putin. Understand?

Russia will seize a lot more land in those 50 days (almost 2 months).

Two weeks is long enough.

agree that europe has chugged the poison. the usa has merely sipped. but that just means the effects will take longer. the long term effect is still the same. It just comes slower.

atheist civilizations like the current European and American ones have shown they have no defense against the muslims.

.......
Likely Russians are losing power to the Muslims too for the same reason. Atheists have no defense against Muslims when they’re inside the walls.

It took a religious revival in Europe and Russia to throw back the Muslims in the 16th and 17th centuries. That’s not happening here. Not when all the universities are rotted out with atheism communism. The idiots of the left are currently allied with the muslims against western civilization without understanding that if they win—then the leftists will be consumed. Because they’e atheists. They have no defense.

1. Have they actually stolen the assets, or just endlessly talk about it?

2. Without the ability to actually manufacture the weapons, all the stolen money in the world won't make a difference.

True enough. In your mixed metaphor, cancer is probably the more accurate side. Ours might not have metastasized yet, but as we ignore it, it surely will.

Russian women want iphones, annual vacations in Egypt/Spain and real estate instead of babies. The grass isn’t any greener over there regardless of the armchair fantasies of some.
