I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so. I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola.

This will be a very good move by them — You’ll see.

I wonder if there is enough excess cane sugar in the world to make this happen. About the only soda I drink is Coke from Mexico in bottles. Nothing in the states comes close. Will be interesting to see how close they get.

I may be mistaken, but I don't know of any soda made with cane sugar that is in plastic bottles. Pepsi makes one in cans with "real" sugar, but it is not cane sugar. I wonder if Coke's commitment will be to "real" sugar and not cane sugar.
