See, this is the proper response. Say this and nothing more: "Whatever she's got that's legit and credible, release it."

If he'd done this from the start, that would absolve him of a lot of criticism and put the ball squarely in Bondi's court.

I do not have a problem with Bondi (DoJ); same as, I did not have a problem with Noem (DHS). And, I believe that both President Trump and AG Bondi are focused upon establishing thorough cases.

Focus should be on the federal and state judges, government attorneys, others in law enforcement - AND federal and state members of legislatures - all who knew about Epstein & Gal (and other venues) who took steps to impede investigations and derail prosecutions.

Particularly in and around The Southern District of New York (”SDNY”).

I guess I’m a bad person, according to the president.

Let us decide for ourselves what is credible. Bondi can certainly weigh-in on the credibility issues— after the files are released. If Bondi believes that the release of a particular document would be harmful, perhaps due to Democrat trickery, she can describe the document in general terms and have the issue decided by a neutral panel.

I hope the President doesn’t allow this un-important case ruin the marvelous record he has in MAGA.

The AG must reveal all she has about Epstein and let the chips fall where they fall - giving hr opinion as to the reliability of the sources.

A promise is a promise!

Order matters.

This interview was given BEFORE his broad emotional outburst on Truth Social aimed at “supporters” which is a little difficult to specify who exactly he is talking about.

But a which a lot of MAGA folk have taken offense with.

As far as I know, the AG has been looking at this for months. The files were on her desk. Then they were supplemented by additional files from an FBI office. They’ve been reviewing and redacting for months and months. Then (for whatever reason) they decided not to release anything.

At this point, if the president says “release what is credible” they should release what they feel is appropriate or flat out say “Absolutely none of this is credible”.

What they should NOT do is say, “We will begin a process and get back to you in 6 months.”

People choose to ignore what Trump is doing has done and will do. They ignore his loyalty

Some MaGA fakers think they hired Trump to be their bitch and do what they tell for him to do

Doesn’t work that way

JD Vance must have talked sense into him .
Does he still think anyone wanting Epstein information accountability is a “past supporter”?

The problem is that I really don’t think a lot of the people fixated on the Epstein case will accept whatever the administration releases. Even if they released every last piece of documentation or footage that still exists in the FBI’s files in regard to Epstein, I seriously doubt it would be enough for them.

These people are going to want confirmation of their favorite conspiracy theories (and boy are there a lot of them), and if the current 2025 FBI doesn’t have information after all these many years that confirms those unproven theories, there will still be huge swaths of MAGA types who will be screaming that they must still be covering up more files with the “real” information in it. The way they are acting really suggests they will never accept that their theories may just have been wrong or that people under the W., Obama, Biden, or even Trump I (when his FBI acted against him) administrations may have already disposed of anything incriminating of those beyond Epstein and Maxwell.

If that’s the case, then all that releasing the files will do (and that would be an incredibly unusual thing for the FBI or any law enforcement agency to do in the first place) would be to build up a lynch mob mentality against people for whom there isn’t evidence to indict and place on trial. Instead the mob will paint not only all the people accused of being clients but everyone merely mentioned in Epstein’s papers of being pedophiles—and the drumb beat of demanding prosecutions that can’t come will never stop, keeping this as a never-ending “scandal” likely with a ton of suits against the government by people falsely accused by the mob.

The way I see it is the most likely scenario is that the administration is caught in a catch-22 where there isn’t really any option they can take that will actually make this go away or not hurt them, and that’s a damn shame when the survival of nation may depend on the success of the Trump administration. It’s fine to ask questions about suspicious things, but the one’s running wild with accusations against the administration and Trump himself based on unproven theories and “evidence” they heard on the Internet need to stop and think about what the consequences of what they are doing are.

PDJT said in an interview last year that there was fake stuff mixed with real stuff in Epstein material :

Trump is acting as a man in a panic would do. Why? Something stinks. He himself is probably not implicated but something else is wrong and it has him spooked.

It’s not really about Epstein. It’s about exposing the rich and famous who participated or witnessed the making of what amounts to child porn and did nothing to stop or report it.

In many crime dramas, they use “chain of evidence” as a reason why the law fails. In the Epstein case, that chain has been corrupted by the political nature of the case, and the liberals holding the evidence (they would say the same in a reversed situation).

I do have concerns that the evidence is corrupted. How? Not wholly certain how to discern the difference.
