President Donald Trump told reporters on Sunday that he spoke with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino amid rumors that Bongino was considering resignation following Attorney General Pam Bondi’s contradictory statements about the Jeffrey Epstein files—initially claiming they were on her desk awaiting review, then later saying they do not exist.
Bongino “sounded terrific” and is in “good shape," Trump said.
A reporter then asked the president if "Dan Bongino still your Deputy FBI Director?”
"Oh, I think so. I did. I spoke to him today… Very good guy. I’ve known him a long time… and he sounded terrific actually. No, I think he’s in good shape," Trump replied.

This follows reports of an alleged rift between Bondi and Bongino, fueled by mounting tensions over the handling of the Epstein files. According to reports, Bongino was considering stepping down, frustrated by what he views as a lack of accountability. The conflict intensified after Bondi initially vowed to release Epstein’s alleged client list, only to later admit no such document exists. Making matters worse, key footage from a recently released 10-hour video is mysteriously missing, leaving Bongino reportedly furious with the Justice Department’s management of the case.
On Saturday, as I reported here, President Trump voiced strong support for Pam Bondi and dismissed the Epstein files as politically motivated and unreliable, claiming discredited figures like James Comey and John Brennan created them. Trump made it clear that his Justice Department should ignore what he called a “political distraction” and stay focused on real priorities—uncovering voter fraud, investigating the stolen 2020 election, holding ActBlue accountable, and cracking down on violent criminals threatening public safety.
and there was “great gnashing of teeth and girding of loins” after TRUMP said BONGINO WAS fine an remaining at his post. HA HA...DOOMERS NEVER PROSPER
lex
As with Charlottesville, there are good people on two sides.
I have a problem with government endorsement. Anyone with a conscience should.
“Terrific”?
Slapping a coat of BS over a festering issue...
Bongino needs to accept the things he cannot change and live to fight another day.
Aphorism 101
glenn beck is doing a FOIA on Bongino emails to Bondi
lol Beck. He still doing Cheeto faces to mock the President? Or did he give that up to make $$ off MAGA
Yup. and he’s lucky he wasn’t fired by Trump or Patel after his hissy fit. Once again the President is the adult in the room

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee): “So, will you work with me on this issue so we know who worked with Jeffrey Epstein in building these sex trafficking rings?
Kash Patel, FBI director nominee: “Absolutely senator.”

Journalist Piers Morgan: “Do you think that by releasing information from these files we are likely to see criminal actions being taken?”
Alina Habba, counsel to the president: “Absolutely. I think it would be negligent for us not to. You have to hold individuals who are indeed rapists, accountable. We have to have them tried, in my opinion.”

Fox News host Mark Levin: “So once all that’s gathered you’re just going to put it out in the public, with the obvious necessary redactions … but for the perpetrators I assume that we’ll see those names, yes?
Bondi: “Well, certainly, nothing can be withheld on that. …”

Habba, to media personality Benny Johnson: “I personally have checked in. They are going through it. You have to be patient. Because when you are wanting to prosecute and actually do something with the information that you have, you have to make sure that you save the integrity of the investigation so that we can bring these people to justice, so that we can hold grand juries, so that we can do certain things.”

Habba, interim U.S. attorney for New Jersey, to Johnson: “You have to make sure also we bring valid cases … Those people that were crossing state lines and trafficking those girls or having sex with minors will be prosecuted.”

Patel to Fox News host Bret Baier: “I’m not going to withhold information from the American public, ever. … We are diligently working on that, and it takes time to go through years of investigations, years of political maneuvering, and years of cover-up.”

Rogan: “The narrative has always been that there’s video. Now, where’s the chain of custody? Is there evidence that there’s video? Is there evidence that it was moved around? Stored? Protected from people looking at it?”
Patel: “You’re going to get all that information. Like, that’s literally what we’re putting together. And we’re going to give you every single thing we have and can. And that’s the whole point. … Now we’re figuring out how to put it out.”

Administration people allegedly made statements that they are no longer able or willing to back by action and evidence.
Explanations to the public are apparently owed.
The phrasing does seem odd. Is it possible Bongino is having a health-related problem again?
“Is it possible Bongino is having a health-related problem again?”
Maybe. It’s been less than five years since he was diagnosed with cancer.
It often returns. Don’t they consider seven years as safe?
You have about worn out your welcome.
Great news!!
Thanks for posting.
Believing everything you read from anywhere?
Did you look at Trump's recent post where he gave his reason?
Non-answer answer.
Could be, might be, maybe.
Bongino hurts his “brand” if he goes or if he stays.
Trump has no idea how much damage he has done to his base by boldly lying to them. Especially those that were not fully on board, but were looking for something better in terms of justice. If he wanted to cover it all up then there are dozen ways he could have done it without doing so much damage.
“It often returns. Don’t they consider seven years as safe?”
It depends upon the type of cancer. I was told by my oncologist that the lung cancer I had, which was radiated and received chemotherapy in 2016, would never return and he used the word, “guarantee.”
Other serious cancers never go away. The DNA stays in the body forever. “Remission” is usually the key word. I was “cured.” The serious cancers go into “remission.”
exactly, like 340000 kids trafficked during Bidens term is no big deal, move along, just sweep it under the rug and arrest some of the little guys
