The Left’s obsession with illegal immigration is getting worse, and weirder, as it strains to resist any and all attempts to enforce immigration law.
The immigration raids in and around Los Angeles have resulted in more violent actions from “protesters” and more ridiculous defenses from Democratic politicians. On the latter front, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) called President Donald Trump “scum” for a raid that resulted in “Kids running from tear gas, crying on the phone because their mother was just taken from the fields.”
Weirdly, Newsom did not think to find out why nearly a dozen children were out in fields in the hot Camarillo sun in the first place. Unless the marijuana facility that runs the farm was having a Take Your Child to Work Day, there does not seem to be an innocent explanation available. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott claims that all 10 children at the facility were illegal immigrants, that eight of them were unaccompanied, meaning their mothers were not being taken from the fields as Newsom claimed, and that the facility is now being investigated for child labor violations.
Either Newsom plans on making illegal immigrant child labor for every marijuana farm part of his 2028 campaign, or he recklessly dove into a story he didn’t know anything about because he is trying to defend illegal immigration. To say neither option is a good look would be an understatement.
Meanwhile, new video shows a “protester” firing some sort of gun at federal agents while activists showed their support for alleged illegal immigrant child labor at marijuana farms. The best-case scenario is that this was not a real gun, and that the offender in question was merely assaulting federal agents while risking the possibility that agents would open fire on him, putting the lives of other protesters in danger. Obviously, the worst-case scenario is that it was a real gun, and this man was trying to kill federal agents, adding him to a growing list of violent left-wing thugs trying to kill law enforcement officers.
On the political front, Democrats continue fighting to unmask federal agents. The stated goal of this is to hold ICE officers accountable, which is ridiculous. Unlike masked left-wing rioters, ICE is an agency. Democrats can hold ICE “accountable” whenever they wish. The actual, unstated goal of this is to allow left-wing mobs to harass individual federal agents and scare them off the job. There has yet to be a good argument against allowing ICE officers, who are arresting cartel members and criminals, to wear masks.
Things are only going to get crazier. Democrats are doing everything in their power to defend illegal immigration at any and all costs. The violence will escalate because Democrats refuse to prosecute their violent activist base. Democrats are going to continue to whitewash the offenses committed by illegal immigrants and the people employing them, because they refuse to acknowledge that violent criminal illegal immigrants and employers undermining employment laws are bad things. They can’t admit any of this because they are obsessed with defending the practice of illegal immigration itself.

There’s nothing weird about it. The Left’s defense of illegal immigration (thugs and drugs) makes perfect sense if you see the goal: destroy the current system and replace it with a socialist/communist one.
Chaos isn’t a bug—it’s a feature.
If Trump issued an executive order prohibiting hitting yourself with hammers, the left-a-doodles would immediately start smashing their hands and feet with hammers. Judges would demand state funds be used to buy more hammers. Flat fingers would become the new trend outpacing piercings and tattoos. Virtue signaling would require flat fingers.
It’s about apportionment.
If 15-17 million illegals leave the Dems lose 20-25 House seats.

Don’t know this author, but this is Mark Steyn level sarcasm.
How about the illegals live with AOC and M? The only purpose of illegals for these people is to wreck the system for some reason and to vote for them and provide cheap labor at the expense of the rest of us who suffer their presence and cost.
How did obama manage to round up and deport 2.4 million of them so quietly? For all the noise and attention Trump does not appear to be anywhere near the pace to accomplish even 2.4 million deportations let alone the necessary 10 times that number or more. My guess is that many more than 24 million are here illegally. Does anybody have any real idea how many illegals are here sucking up resources? 40 million?

What codswallop!!!! It was more than 13 million 20 years ago. Figures put the numbers of illegals invading the US in just the four years of biden at 11 million. Does anybody really know how many illegals there are? By the looks of things there are 10 million in Texas alone. Every school yard you see is a sea of little brown people.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom protested against an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid on a marijuana farm in his state this week that was allegedly found to have been using child labor.
Newsom reposted a video of the raid, calling President Donald Trump the “real scum” for enforcing the law.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott alleged that the farm had been found employing not only illegal aliens, but also “juveniles.”

While I’m not in favor of a civil war i do think one has been declared against us law abiding citizens by some within our government - FBI, parent terrorists at School board meetings and the BLM destroyers. The immigration enforcement appears to be where some of these commies want to wage the war and from my point of view, the commies shooting at ICE agents and them returning fire and defeating them is a better scenario than me having to do so.

I had heard that the owner of the pot farm was a major contributor to Newsom. I'm imagining a phone call: "I say, Colonel Newsom, the Union troops are here at Smokey Weed Plantation and they're taking away all my ni..., uh, Mexicans. Send the cavalry."
