Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend.
Sharing a video of Vance with his family at the Southern California theme park, Newsom wrote, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” in a post on X on Saturday.
Some 100 to 150 protesters gathered outside the gates of the “Happiest Place on Earth” to jeer Vance and his family on Friday and Saturday after his presence at the park was reported, according to the Orange County Register.
Protests were also held in Anaheim while the vice president was in Southern California, where a number of immigration raids have taken place in recent months.
On Saturday, a small crowd also gathered at the Grand Californian Hotel, adjacent to the park, where Vance is believed to be staying, KTLA reports.
Some of the protesters waved Mexican flags.

My recollection is that Republicans would have two more Congress critters but for vote fraud in California, one of whom was in Orange County, the original home of Disneyland.

And I hope the people in CA do find out if elections are being stolen, which I think they might be. Still, unless there is some kind of groundswell in CA to investigate voter fraud, the politicians sure as hell aren’t going to initiate it. Somebody in CA needs to initiate the investigation or there going to be continued kicking the can down the road with little or no change.
Cal is heavy Democrat state with many military institutions with young families. Vance is trying start a spark in California.

One of the "Stop the Steal" rallies in 2020 was on an overpass on State Highway 17, between Silicon Valley and the people's republic of Santa Cruz. So just for fun, I took an informal "poll" counting the number of "thumbs up" responses versus flipping the bird or the like. Four to one in FAVOR of our pro-Trump protest.
The vote fraud is THAT significant here. This State is a prison camp of bureaucracy. Yeah, we've got a lot of liberals, and they do need re-education, but it's not as bad as you apparently think it is. A lot of the leftist babble here is habitual and out of fear.
I live about nine miles from Disneyland, and I haven’t been there since 1969. And I doubt if I’ll ever go there again.
It was better before it was Disneyland. My uncle had a chicken ranch on the site which I last visited in 1954. It was exciting to be awakened by crowing roosters.
I believe it is, although I haven't been inside the park since the Knott family sold it. My mother was a waitress at the Chicken Dinner Restaurant around the time Zeros and Wildcats started dogfighting, and her boss was Cordelia Knott, the wife of the park's founder Walter Knott.
The chicken still tastes great, and you don't have to pay to go inside the park to get it.
Vance should have gone to another destination for a family vacation than woke Disneyland.

Last time I was at Disneyland the rides were breaking down and the family fights were everywhere that was 20 years ago I can’t imagine it has improved.
