Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend.
Sharing a video of Vance with his family at the Southern California theme park, Newsom wrote, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” in a post on X on Saturday.
Some 100 to 150 protesters gathered outside the gates of the “Happiest Place on Earth” to jeer Vance and his family on Friday and Saturday after his presence at the park was reported, according to the Orange County Register.
Protests were also held in Anaheim while the vice president was in Southern California, where a number of immigration raids have taken place in recent months.
On Saturday, a small crowd also gathered at the Grand Californian Hotel, adjacent to the park, where Vance is believed to be staying, KTLA reports.
Some of the protesters waved Mexican flags.

Those families aren’t in the country legally, governor scumbag.
Why did he take them to California? Why not Disneyworld in Florida? I wouldn’t give California the time of day, let alone my money.

Visiting blue states is a good idea for Vance especially. I’m sure they knew in advance what to expect. Unfortunately California is still a part of these United States.

Its all about rallying decent people and retaking salvagable parts of California. For one it is necessary for Republicans to recapture those two Congressional seats in Orange county late were stolen by the democrats in 2024 with a “long count”. Vance is showing that the Trump administration will go and do what it needs to do anywhere, anytime.
Besides, Knott’s Berry Farm is a better theme park.
That is a really slimy thing to do. It used to be an opponents family was not threatened. Newsom is way over the line here. Way over.

Anaheim at this time of year is more favorable to being outside than Lake Buena Vista is.
The sad thing is that Newsom isn’t bright enough to understand that statements like his is why tourism in CA has been in decline for the past 5 years. The same is true for CA population. People in CA are fleeing the repressive gov’t control in such numbers that the state actually lost one seat in the House of Representatives. While I blame Newsom for some truly idiotic economic policies, I find it hard to feel sorry for the people of CA because they voted these clowns into office and continue to do so.
While I’d never recommend anyone patronizing Disney parks, the VP shoulda visited DW not DL.
