Visiting blue states is a good idea for Vance especially. I’m sure they knew in advance what to expect. Unfortunately California is still a part of these United States.

For one it is necessary for Republicans to recapture those two Congressional seats in Orange county late were stolen by the democrats in 2024 with a “long count”. Cal is heavy Democrat state with many military institutions with young families. Vance is trying start a spark in California.
Last time I was at Disneyland the rides were breaking down and the family fights were everywhere that was 20 years ago I can’t imagine it has improved.
His wife's parents live in San Diego. This is probably part of a grandkids/grandparents vacation. ☺️
