Read the Base, Trump: Voters Want Epstein Accountability
PJ Media ^ | 07/12/2025 | Catherine Salgado

One of Donald Trump’s popular campaign promises was to work on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files, so we could see how many people still in power were clients of the infamous child trafficker. In a new mystifying message, Trump not only supported his attorney general in not releasing the files; he bashed his own base.

Voters love Trump for defying the Deep State, for promising to drain the swamp, for vowing to track down criminals — especially child abusers. He was elected on promises of enforcing the law against criminals. Now Attorney General Pam Bondi is claiming that the Epstein files are just a myth, even though she had previously claimed they were sitting on her desk (apparently Epstein’s guilty plea to child prostitution and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell’s 20-year prison sentence for conspiring with him to abuse minors were accidents). The truly shocking part is that Trump is backing Bondi. We saw this sort of debacle play out with Richard Nixon. Trump should not make the same mistake.

Furious MAGA voters expected Trump to ask Bondi to resign, or at least to rebuke her and remind her of his campaign promise—one that many voters were enthused about—because child exploitation by elites is a topic that riles most Americans, especially since many of the victims and elites in this case are still alive. Instead of reading the room, figuratively speaking, and sitting Bondi down for a talk, Trump posted a message on Truth Social that contradicts his former comments and has already garnered backlash, with both X and Truth Social exploding as Trump voters decried the message.

You can’t always get what you want
but if you try sometimes
you can get what you need.

One of the things Trump got elected to do was clean up Deep State and the DOJ. Accountability in the Epstein case is part of that mandate.

Who are the base? Even in FR, it is obvious that many see Epstein list as an unnecessary distraction. I am one of those who is with Trump.

Bravo! Someone gets it. If they find Epstein did some bad things, how are they going to punish him...he’s dead. And no one is going to fess up about anything so what is this “list” good for. I have a list in my computer so I can email friends. So what. Try and prove anything from something like that. Same/same

If I can be told that the CIA was experimenting on innocent people with LSD I can also be told if CIA was involved with trafficking underage women

Did anyone get prosecuted when the CIA family Jewels horror show was finally revealed?

You bring up the biggest reason not to publish a list claiming it is of Epstein’s clients. Any list published claiming it is Epstein’s clients is tantamount to an accusation of perversion. Do you want to put the Federal Government’s imprimatur on that accusation without the ability to challenge it?

Available lists may be little more that contacts for people he knew for any reason, not just the perverts he was a procurer for. I would also throw parts of the DOJ under the bus by claiming that I was uncertain that the list I had was not edited/corrupted. Then say the investigation was ongoing.

Those two are important, yes. Mass deportation especially but we also have to look at those elites who allowed it to happen and to continue. Hence, Epstein. The Epstein uproar doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

Re: "Everything can be cleared up by releasing the files."

Unless there is clear evidence of criminal misconduct, the DOJ has no lawful right to release ANY of the Epstein documents.

Bottom Line...

There was one - and only one - woman who claimed under age sex with one - and only one - person on the Epstein Client List.

Virginia Giuffre claimed she had sex three times with Prince Andrew.

Prince Andrew denies knowing her.

Prince Andrew and the Royal Family admitted no guilt.

They paid an unknown amount of money into an organization created by Giuffre that provides financial assistance to young women who have been trafficked.

No other women have filed a criminal complaint, or a civil lawsuit, against any one else on the Epstein Client List.

Sorry, but the voters care about their safety and their wallets. Nobody that I know cares about epstein.

Really? Why not?

If there’s nothing there then there’s no reason to keep them hidden.

My suspicion is that the info is still being used for blackmail on those still alive.

Fun fact...

A children’s 60-voice choir was used and double tracked to give it a 120-voice sound.

Ok, the files are released, a few important people are shamed and deny everything. In the end, what do you have? The guy is dead, his girlfriend is in prison. Nobody died. What good would it be to expose these people? No one will be charged. All involved will proclaim their innocence.

It's a bit over 10 minutes, but this video with investigative reporter Whitney Webb describes the potential reasons the Epstein case won't be discussed publicly by TPTB.

Whitney Webb Explains What Trump is HIDING From the Epstein Files

SPOILER ALERT: It ain't about sex or blackmail.
