(from about the 19 minute mark): Milei's "chain saw" to government approach balanced the budget, brought inflation down to near zero, turned the economy around and reduced unemployment and poverty, all in one year.

Argentina is looking like the post-WWII German economic miracle. Milei's tremendous success in economic matters give credibility to his social positions (e.g., against climate change, illegal immigration).

Milei's approval ratings are holding up; and, his party is doing well in the polls and looks to win the upcoming midterm elections.

Just goes to show that “Demoncratic Socialists” are peddling a doomsday, fascist, economic utopia plan.

And if we do what Milei has been trying to do (and it appears he and Trump are simpatico on many of these things) we can do the same in the United States, IMO.

Hopefully Trump will have the BALLS to do it. Unfortunately, we have a commie demonrat party and the leftist judiciary to deal with. Should the US declare bankruptcy?

And apparently he didn’t have to confront an army of so-called “judges” ruling against his every move.

Well, I think we both agree it is an uphill battle. I see Trump as a generational, once in a lifetime President who, if anyone could do it, will take a stab at turning things around.

I do feel that at this time in our history, if this doesn’t take, we are lost. There are many on this forum who think we are already lost and shouldn’t waste time or effort trying to turn things around.

I am not one of them.

I am a Hegseth-like “We’re done with that shit” kind of Conservative.

In the end, Trump’s efforts may not work, but if we got someone like Rand Paul or Ted Cruz in there in the last election, there would have been less of a chance anyway.

Just my opinion.

**I do feel that at this time in our history, if this doesn’t take, we are lost.**

Kinda reminds me of Midway-WWII. A Japanese submarine surfaced AFTER the US fleet passed it on its way to Midway. Had they seen the fleet beforehand they could have radioed Tokyo and the war could have turned out different. Devine intervention?

This guy has done good things, but he continues to peddle the nonsense that the Falklands belong to Argentina and the UK needs to “give them back.” They aren’t Argentine, never were Argentine. The general population has voted there - nearly unanimous they want to continue to be British.

It may be beneficial domestically to stay that stuff, as they have been spoon-fed that false belief for a long time, but at some point the public there needs to be educated on the reality and let it go.

With all the good work Milei has done Trump ought to strong-arm the Limeys into giving it up. After all it was the Brits who invented racism.

That link that you provided takes me to Argentina as Gangsta’s Paradise, not to a booming economy.

“The general population has voted there - nearly unanimous they want to continue to be British.”

I just checked and saw that referendum was in 2013. The Britain of 2013 no longer exists. Britain is now a fascist state and a terror state where the terrorism has been outsourced to the Muslims. There is no prospect of reversing this.

The Falkland Islanders might not be so anxious to remain a part of the UK, especially when the UK starts dumping Muslims on them.

Before Peron Argentina was on the way to approaching the USA in productivity, because of its natural resources and temperate climate.
