Federal immigration agents, assisted by members of the National Guard, carried out raids at two Southern California cannabis farms, arresting dozens, including undocumented minors, in an operation that drew several hundred protestors and violent clashes with officers.
The immigration sweeps, one at Glass House Farms in Camarillo and another about 35 miles up the coast at another Glass House facility in Carpinteria, unfolded simultaneously at around 8:30 a.m.
United States Attorney Bill Essayli confirmed the operation in a post to X.
“Federal agents are executing a search warrant at this marijuana farm,” he wrote. “Agents have already arrested multiple individuals for impeding this operation and will continue to make arrests. Don’t interfere. You will be arrested and charged with a federal offense.”
Essayli later posted a video to X, showing what looks like a man firing at federal agents.
“[The] FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo,” he said. “The shooting occurred on 7/10/25 at approximately 2:26 p.m. on Laguna Rd between Wood Rd and Las Posas Rd.”
Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott posted to X that 10 undocumented minors at the Camarillo farm, eight of them unaccompanied, were found and Glass House is now under investigation for child labor violations.
“This is Newsom’s California,” he added.
First responders with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene on reports of a multi-casualty incident but were forced to set up a triage system for people injured by tear gas at a safe distance from the ongoing operation.
Five people, according to the Los Angeles Times, were taken to the hospital.

Today I saw this greenhouse owner on the street of ICE activity, mad as hell. A Fox reporter interviewed him. He said ICE broke open the door to one of his greenhouses looking for illegals. I now understand what ICE was looking for—children. That owner could care less about the serious nature of the ICE activity. He may have faced something worse than a broken door.
There was all kinds of anti-ICE agitators on that street creating a big scene.
The article says they had a warrant. These agitators had no right to interfere.
As usual for the braindead lefties and their willfully ignorant supporters.
At all.
They’re going to catch that guy with the gun too.
When I read “violent clashes with officers” the next line needs to say how many of the scumbags were shot and how many arrested.
It infuriates me the Mexicans who are anchor baby citizens are outraged when ice has to deal with these maniacs. One video shows them crawling all over a car to try to stop it and the anchor baby decries the ice agents as shameful
“Agents have already arrested multiple individuals for impeding this operation and will continue to make arrests. Don’t interfere. You will be arrested and charged with a federal offense.”
Throw the book at them. No plea deals.
“[The] FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo,“
That person should be dead.

Cannabis farms are legal in California. They picked it because it gives the appearance of something bad. Children working there would appear to be stretching it.
“Cannabis farms are legal in California.”
They are here in Illinois, too.
Employing illegal workers and children, however, most certainly is not. There are plenty of adult Americans workers who will take these jobs.

The sooner the better.
Cannabis farms are legal in California.

It was the opening shot of a cold civil war.
Cannabis is NOT FEDERALLY LEGAL.
Light up or carry in a huge bag of pot into a California FBI office and see what happens.

Children working there would appear to be stretching it.

Oh, the kiddie slaves freed don’t really exist ?
The narrative control cubicle cubicle needs to replace you , you’re failing.
No post reward doughnut for you today.
Local LA news showed the stand off with the protesters (weed dealers) were not happy LOL.
And who leaked information about an 8:30AM raid to the "protesters"?
there are phone apps that can be used for tracking ICE activity, so its not hard for protesters to know whereICE will be
