I refer to the rescuers, of course.

I hope they got some punches in.
Should have beat him to a pulp…. Too often, the public stands by while thugs get their way. Even if arrested by police, they’re released by some bleeding heart liberal judge. Our civilized society needs to make sure our society remains civilized by beating the “un” out of the uncivilized. A
thank God these folks are looking out for one another: no one else is going to ...
I hope Trump has something to say.
The guy weighs 400 pounds easy.
Was he going to throw her in front of a train?

I’m not arguing against intervening. Folks who do so are heroes. But to be fair, the average citizen is not trained in quick response. So some people will freeze when faced with unexpected violence.
Plus, more than one NYC Good Samaritan has been killed while trying to intervene. Perhaps bystanders consider that. Here’s just one story:
released without the need to post bail:
“Marshall was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, as well as third-degree assault and second-degree harassment.”
“Marshall — who cops say has no prior arrests — was granted supervised release during his arraignment the next day, as the charges are not bail-eligible, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.”
As it should be. There remains hope.
Plus, more than one NYC Good Samaritan has been prosecuted for intervening.
Most likely.
Good.
This is a pleasant surprise.
Usually they are too busy recording the event with their cell phone cameras for their TikTok and Youtube channels, and hoping for lots of blood from the victim.
Just as expected.
Thank God people are finally reaching their limit with this kind of crap nd taking matters into their own hands.
That would be my guess.
Yes I hope they beat him senseless so he cannot become a recidivist.
No doubt he’ll sue the city for failing to protect him and win $1 million verdict.
>>Should have beat him to a pulp
‘interference in criminal activity’ is a felony in NYC.
Daniel Penny, Bernhard Goetz, and many, many others have been maliciously prosecuted for that.
