WASHINGTON — Vice President JD Vance said Monday he believed Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is buried beneath three nuclear facilities bombed by the US over the weekend — though other officials and experts fear that the theocratic regime may have moved and stashed the nuclear fuel just before the attack.
“Our goal was to bury the uranium, and I do think the uranium is buried, but our goal was to eliminate the enrichment and eliminate their ability to convert that enriched fuel into a nuclear weapon,” Vance told Fox News “Special Report” host Bret Baier when asked if the US knew the location of Iran’s roughly 400kg (882 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60% purity.

Oh, we don’t know where the stuff we paid billions to make is.
Buried under tons of rock....................
“If the enriched uranium is still under Iran’s control, it still is a threat.”
Yeah. No kidding. They moved it out. Our people took out the processors. They can work on the rest later
What’s your point
As much as I love Trump, the messaging out of his administration on the Iran operation has been chaotic and uncoordinated. First Trump tweets that he wants regime change, then he says he doesn’t want regime change. First the administration says that it completely destroyed Iran’s enriched uranium. Now Vance says there may still be some buried. If some still exists, why did we stop military operations? I’m glad Israel and the US did what they did but the message on the objective and result is all over the map and undermining the success of the operation.
I hope we know where it is ALL OF IT very soon.

Provide that quote please
Trump never said we were to to work for regime change.

The operation is over
In what way ‘tis Trump telling us idiotic gossipers, anything or nothing, doing anything to undermine any operation
so, they moved it to Syria to store with WMD’s? LOL

The operative word here is control.
Aside from the fact the enriched uranium is almost certainly buried beyond reach as a result of the American MOP’s, Iranian control was already eradicated by numerous IDF hits on all sorts of nuclear related targets. Those targets include the very personell who were developing the uranium enrichment and all phases of bomb development.
Iran had already “lost control” of the bomb making as a result of systematic IDF destruction. The current Iranian claims about resumption are just fatuous nonsense.
Ye
If the uranium at the sites were really evacuated, do you really think they would tell us?
At least you got your screen name right …
Do we know the centrifuges are kaput? Is it possible to move them? If so the story might not be over.
It really doesn’t matter.
Iran can’t do anything with it because all the downstream bomb development capability is obliterated. The 60% enriched uranium cannot be enriched further nor converted into a bomb for the simple reason there are no facilities nor knowledgeable people left to do so.
I hope you are right. I believe it was better to attack than wait and do nothing.
