The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is irredeemable and must be eliminated through legislation. Failure to do so leaves the door open for future administrations to reinvigorate it and reintroduce destructive ideas and agendas into U.S. foreign policy. The idea of “development” has become too obtuse and colonized by progressives to keep the agency limited in scope beyond the Trump administration.

I'm seeing a potential problem here.
Relying on Congress is a problem.
The Dems just use USAID as a way to pay back their buddies with taxpayer money. Then it just rolls over year after year. The Republicans go along as they get a small percentage, too.
The only guy interested in trying to abolish these agencies is Thomas Massie.
The biggest target Freepers want to get rid of, Thomas Massie.
Make it make sense. It makes no sense.
“The only guy interested in trying to abolish these agencies is Thomas Massie.”

FALSE
You may simply have information I do not yet have, but feel free to show me the top three representatives (excluding Massie) who have forwarded some legislation or resolution or anything else, anything at all, to abolish the Department of Education or USAID.
I look forward to learning something new. Hopefully we got some guys champing at the bit to do some abolishing.
“ The only guy interested in trying to abolish these agencies is Thomas Massie.”
Bull. Now go progress America somewhere else.

We have been waiting through how many years for DOE? I won’t hold my breath for republicans....
The proof that I'm incorrect is a link to massie.house.gov. Where the headline says, "Massie introduces"
That look on my face: Priceless.
That's an impressive list of co-sponsors. None of them took the lead, and still doesn't even now, today.
And there is zero items about USAID I take it?
Let's sum this up. We're back to Massie is the only guy. Maybe I set the bar too high. I asked for 3.
Can you produce 1 thing? Anything, that isn't Massie connected? Anything, anywhere? How about in the Senate? Anything? Massie is in the house, so, anything from the Senate at all?
Oh, and don't think I can't see the setup for a word game that's being strawmanned into existence here. He said "interested" *points* hehe GOT EM. (NOTE: we are not 4 year olds here. Let's not act like it.) All you need to do is provide links to legislation or proposals or etc from congress itself, or news links will suffice, from people proposing legislations or initiatives.
How about anything else? Why limit ourselves to DoEd or USAID? Anybody interested in abolishing EPA? Abolishing OSHA? Abolishing the FCC? Abolishing the TSA? Let's see it, any proposal, from any member of congress, of any agency.
Someone else already posted the link to Massie’s legislation on house.gov.
“That’s an impressive list of co-sponsors. None of them took the lead, and still doesn’t even now, today.”
Shoots down your claim, though!
That is the Department of Education, not ending USAID.
Sad that the only goal was a strawman mickey mouse game.
“That is the Department of Education, “
No ____, Sherlock!

No ____, Sherlock!
Massie is also the only guy doing anything regarding abolishing the Fed.

But I suppose we would be better off with a bunch of Bushes running around. What a victory. I hope for more Bushes or McCains or Romneys in the House. The future is bright!
