The foreign ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany met with their Iranian counterpart on Friday and after talks ended said discussions had been “serious” and that they’d urged Tehran to agree to talk to the Americans next.

Initial peace talks between London, Paris, Berlin, and Tehran to open channels for negotiating an end to the Iran-Israel war lasted for around four and a half hours on Friday. Britain’s David Lammy, France’s Jean-Noël Barrot, and Germany’s Johann Wadephul met with Iran’s Abbas Araghchi in Geneva, Switzerland for face-to-face talks they said after the meeting broke should lead to further discussions.

United Kingdom Foreign Minister David Lammy said he had been clear in talks that “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon” and that he’d urged Iran to “continue their talks with the United States”. Before the talks, Lammy had said there is a “two week window” to achieve peace, bringing the UK into line with President Trump who said the same today.

I wouldn’t trust the Europeans to negotiate the purchase of a Big Mac for me, let alone anything involving nuclear weapons in the hands of a bunch of theocratic gangsters.

I think the Iranian minister is just physically situating himself in a safe country for when his nation’s dictatorship is finally swept out of power.
He can’t get much more from those Euro countries to begin with

Urged Iran to talk to Washington??? LOL. What fantasyland are they living in? First, Washington doesn’t need or want to talk to Iran right now unless its about an unconditional surrender. Second, do these negotiators even have authority? Can then actually make anything happen? Or is this all playacting?

Why are they talking with Euros? ... ISRAEL is systematically dismantling their nuclear program with aerial bombardment. Only these United States have any serious ability to contribute to the campaign. Meaningful decisions are being made in Jerusalem and Washington. Not in Europe.

Perhaps breaking up the country would work. Arm the Kurds. There are other groups.

Sounds a bit like “nation building” that will lead to a “forever war”. Only a “neocon” “globalist” “warmonger” subservient to the “deep state” would want that ...
🙄

No. The forever war will be amongst themselves but then Trump could pull this off-the chance of peace.

If Trump works a deal with Iran, Nuke Inspectors will have to inspect different
Iranian Nuke Sites. What Country in their right mind would send Nuke Inspectors
to Iran?
As soon as the plane load of Nuke Inspectors land in Iran, they will be kidnapped
and held as Hostages as Leverage over the West.
That would make Hamas Hostage taking look like child’s play.
The West will be paralyzed to do anything to Iran.
