Arnold had a Democratic supermajority Congress to deal with. There was nothing he could do with them in charge.
I remember the good propositions Arnold tried to get passed during his first term, right off after deposing Gray Davis. The California employee unions crushed all of those good propositions.
Arnold was no conservative, but he did try to do some good things for California but he was completely negated by the Rat congress and leftist employee unions.

His words are cool and like the fact zGoupie Goldy was po’ed but Arnie is a liberal pos that did little for Cawlifowya.

But I have no context as to what prompted his statement. I am not signed up even for Newsweak, let alone a paying subscriber, and I have no problem accessing it.
Arnold also said we need to "create immigration reform". Which is code worlds for legalizing illegals.

He jumped the shark with his “Screw your freedom” comments during Covid and his embrace of Gaia Worship even while living just as high on the hog as he can personally. He lost all remaining credibility when he did that.
