These metrics mean nothing outside the context of the cases and the decisions.

There was a very interesting article in one of the major newspapers right around the time ACB was nominated in 2018. The author analyzed the Supreme Court cases from the prior court term (around 2017) and made a remarkable observation:

The two justices who voted the same way in both majority and minority decisions more than any other pair of justices during that term were Clarence Thomas and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Go figure.

First, if everyone looks at the source document you’ll see an interesting footnote to the headline:

Distinctive Features of Amy Coney Barrett’s (Nearly) Five Terms on the Court∗

∗Prepared for the New York Times.

Hmmmmmm…..now, why would the Slimes ask for such a document to be prepared? Obviously, they have NO AGENDA. It MUST be in pursuit of objectivity…yeah, that’s the ticket.

In contrast, if we look at something unaffiliated with The Old Gray Hag, a different picture emerges

So yeah….she’s trending away from Alito. But she’s HARDLY agreeing 80%+ of the time with The Enemy.

Source documents and independent research….it works.
