Trump’s actual positions (vs the strawmen many are arguing against) are enormously popular with Americans outside the online influencer bubble. https://t.co/9FMnZFvbnZ— AG (@AGHamilton29) June 18, 2025
These so-called ‘influencers’ are the ones losing out.
Not influenced, for sure.
Yup
The reality is that if President Trump can quickly eliminate the Iranian nuclear program and facilitate a regime change, preferably with minimal loss of life, his popularity will soar.
Airstrikes are "direct involvement".
I'm sure an even larger majority oppose "boots on the ground".
The so-called influencers would have us believe that “Trump’s base would shatter” even if US involvement was confined to taking out the facility at Fordow. Obvious nonsense. These are mostly people who, for whatever sick reason, want Iran to amass a nuke arsenal.
What is derect involvement to you?
Fake Maga panikans.
Yup ... we’re seeing their true colors, for sure.
Politics can be a fickle bitch. One day you think you are on the inside, the next day the circle has moved locations without you.
To be sure Americans don’t want ground troops in Iran and they don’t want any kind of nation building or even troops on the ground supporting regime change.
But apparently they do support taking out Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities, and I believe they would support the people of Iran changing their own regime.
I think Trump is holding out for an “unconditional surrender” that allows him to blow up the facilities with the regime’s permission. But I don’t think he’ll wait long.
That’s right.
Paging Tucker and Bannon. 😉
The very word is so idiotic. Looks like it was made up by some wokesters. What does it even mean? A bunch of smug bastards with pets on their laps thinking they project influence over people. Brrrrrrr!
Yeah, thank goodness the other people not paying much attention are not even in the slightest influenced by Hannity et al, the massive AIPAC sponsored Congressfools on TV, or their local preacher who thinks loyalty to Israel is the duty of all Americans.
At best, this is a propaganda battle and nothing else. The mass media sheep and the ones who shiver at football game flyovers want more bombing and a new war.
People who pay attention want it a little less.
But in any case, DC does as it pleases with no regard for public opinion. The only reason they publish stories like this is to manufacture consent. Nothing else.
Get some good rest.
You sound terribly triggered.
I don't doubt that there are furious negotiations going on behind the scenes. Three Iranian Govt VIP jets flew to Oman, possibly carrying negotiators. Or just as likely, senior officials/wealthy people fleeing the country. Trump has certainly hardened his public tone. Israel's combat success has given Trump a Royal Flush to play to Iran's aces and eights. Regardless of if it takes kinetic force or negotiation, if Trump can force Iran to give up their nuclear program, his popularity, and the reputation of the USA will soar. But if the war drags on and we end up having to send troops, the opposite will happen.
Both Trump and Israeli sources have teased something big for Thursday or Friday. Meanwhile, the US has been making significant movements of tanker and fighter aircraft. Several BMD capable destroyers have moved into the eastern Med, and a second Carrier Strike Group will arrive on scene this weekend.
