Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is facing an uphill re-election battle due to declining favorability numbers among Republican primary voters, a new survey from one of the most accurate pollsters found.
The new poll, which was conducted by Quantus Insights, surveyed 600 registered voters in the Palmetto State between June 10-13. In terms of overall approval among all voters, Graham finds himself in the red, with 41 percent of respondents voicing approval and 46 percent voicing disapproval. An additional 13 percent of respondents remain undecided.
Among Republican respondents, 22 percent said they will “definitely” be backing a challenger to the longtime senator in the upcoming Republican primary, while an additional 23 percent said they will “probably” be backing a challenger.
Just 34 percent of Republican voters said they will “definitely” back Graham in the primary, while a sizable number, 21 percent, remain undecided.
As of this report, it remains unclear whether Graham will be drawing additional primary challengers. South Carolina businessman Mark Lynch has already declared and has released encouraging internal polling, though the Quantus Insights survey indicates that a large number of voters remain undecided.

Took long enough.
Ooohh boy. Don’t scare Lindsey yet. He’s liable to start a war.
Not a good idea to replace Tillis especially if he’s running against Roy Cooper.
Will he have a decent challenger? Hope so
This is why I'm not a Republican.
Let’s see who President Trump supports.
Trump has already endorsed Graham, probably part of some deal to vote for something/someone. That’s how it works.
But the people of SC don’t have to pay attention to that.
Graham is awful.
I’d love to bag Moore Capito in West Virginia as well but taking out those 4 in addition to the Turtle retiring would have a big effect on the Senate. Not only would the RINO caucus be diminished, the remaining ones would see which way the wind is clearly blowing....meaning at least some of them may decide to change their positions rather than risk getting primaried and thrown out like this group of RINOs.
Gonna take peace and prosperity for a good midterm. (And actual mass deportations.)
Remember SC has open primaries. Democrats can and do influence GOP primaries.
Yes, she’s another worthless one.
He votes R mostly. He pays attention and speaks up. It’s the trait of wanting to pop off first that gets frustrating. I understand the urge to be Emporer, but we have a pretty decent one in there right at the moment.
Yes, he is awful! And sometimes Trump has to make deals with snakes.
GOOD! I hope every rino faces an “uphill battle”.
No “real” Republican is going to win in WV any time soon. The state has more white people on welfare than any place outside the UK.
It doesn’t look good for Cornyn. Most Texas Republicans realize Cornyn is a problem and must be replaced, hopefuly with Ken Paxton.

Graham’s people will flood the primary to weak all the candidates...he did this before.
Cornyn-Graham! breakfast cereal. Each bowl is more disappointing than the last.
