Dear Democrats: I Won't Let You Exhaust Me With Your Diaper-Filling Tantrums

It's pretty safe to say that the Democratic Party's response to all things Trump since 2016 has made the party irredeemable. Conservatives of a certain age ("Present") have long talked about the kinds of Democrats we used to know. There was a wistfulness there, because we were hoping that we might one day get back to righteous sparring with the Democrats we know over policy and philosophy, and then adjourn for some adult beverages together where we discussed anything but politics.

I've written about this a lot over the years, but it bears repeating for the purposes of this column. I have spent almost my entire adult life as a conservative in the entertainment industry. Although I'm not a political comic, everyone knew that I was a conservative. For the vast majority of that time, it wasn't a problem.

Then the Trump Derangement Syndrome hysteria set in.

One might have thought that it would have diminished a bit when they managed to, um, elect Joe Biden. Nah. As I kept saying in early 2021, I had never seen a group of people so angry about winning an election in my entire life. Democrats have no problem celebrating ill-gotten gains, so that wasn't what was keeping them cranky.

There are a lot of reasons for the Dems' mental unwellness since 2016, but the biggest one it that Donald Trump shattered their sense of entitlement when he prevented Granny Maojackets from ascending her diversity throne. That's the real source of their angst. Trump's straightforwardness and unabashed patriotism add to that angst, which is delicious, but this all began because Hillary Clinton couldn't ride her husband's coattails to the White House.

While I have never been a fan of the Democrats' motivating principles, I do miss the days when they had something other

The left’s outrageous temper-tantrum doesn’t make sense in the normal political scheme of things. Trump is actually not much different than Bill Clinton policy-wise.

One problem is that he is trying to stop their gravy train — for both the Democrats and Republicans. (That’s the Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, Clinton wing of the party just to name a few).

The other is that it is true that the Democrat party has moved to the extreme left. The most outspoken segment of their party are Marxists/Communists/Socialists such as AOC and Crockett. They want to rule and consume all that is produced by the job creators.

And then there are those that want to destroy American and all it stands for because their allegiance is to Islam (Satan). That is Omar and a few others.

All three groups have federal judges on their side.

I can’t think of anyone else that would have as much success against all three groups as Trump has done. That really ticks them off. All three groups will k*ll for what they want.

In ten years all those progressive boomers will be dying off or too old to march with their “no kings” signs and maintain some semblance of an organized party. All that will be left of the democrat party are disparate groups of angry insane violent gangs fighting for top of the victimhood pyramid. I hope to love long enough to see the democrats completely destroyed.

it is true that the Democrat party has moved to the extreme left. The most outspoken segment of their party are Marxists/Communists/Socialists such as AOC and Crockett. They want to rule and consume all that is produced by the job creators.

There were other factions in the Democratic Party. There were Unions, Blue Dog Democrats from the South, etc.

But now the Progressives (Communists) from both coasts have taken over the party.

If Joe Manchin was a young politican, he would be a Republican today.

Padilla was so sad today when he described how he worried about the effect on his kids when they see the video of him getting the bum’s rush and handcuffed. The guy on Red Eye Radio said that when his kids are 20, and they look at the video of that and his Senate sob session they will be embarrassed that he’s their dad.

People are just tired of all this childish behavior and posturing, and they are starting to decide that mob violence is bad, too. Even that nutjob Mayor Bass was proud of how well her curfew worked.

Re: "Righteous sparring with the Democrats..."

Maybe during the Eisenhower-Adlai Stevenson campaigns.

1960 - Flagrant voter fraud in Illinois and Texas put JFK in the White House.

1964 - Flagrant news media bias destroyed the Goldwater campaign.

1973-74 - Flagrant Judicial, FBI, and news media misconduct forced the Nixon Resignation.

I can go on...through 2024.

The “Democrat” party died from the inside when JFK was assassinated, it had cancer before JFK was elected. From then on the democrat party has been like Jason from Friday the 13th, coming back again and again meaner, bloodier, and more vicious every election cycle.
