Revolutionary Guard leader dead - Iranian state media

Iran Revolutionary Guard chief Hossein Salami has been killed in an Israeli strike, Iranian state media is reporting.

He is among several senior leaders who have died in the attack.

Fereydoon Abbasi, the former head of head of the Atomic Energy Organization has also been killed, state media has reported.

As we reported earlier, an Israeli official said that its strikes targeted "Iran's nuclear programme and other military targets".

When the dust settles I predict there will be two heroes of this attack: The F-35 and Mossad. Contrary to the armchair critics, Israel has previously proven that the F-35 is unstoppable by even the “vaunted” S-300 and S-400 SAM systems (at least, in the hands of the Iranians), and it certainly would have led the way tonight. And Mossad obviously was tracking the locations of key regime leaders in real time, enabling their targeting, and there are also reports that some of those killed may have been assassinated by Mossad directly on the ground, in addition to those killed by airstrikes.
