No job is impossible to replace, with the proper wages. What they are really complaining about is the loss of cheap labor.

Profits regardless of consequences.

If they can’t hire Americans and pay a reasonable wage, they have no business being in business..

It’s hard to hire people when you are competing with government handouts.

My wife and I let a “green card” mexican woman into our home back in the early 90’s. She had six kids. They were there for six weeks. We worked hard to find her a job, and we did. She worked for two days and quit because she “wanted to be with her kids”. Government aid paid only $100 less than the job.

If government aid wasn’t available, she would not have quit.

BTW, we kicked them out. And then had to get rid of the head lice my three daughters acquired while they were there.

Wages in this country have been basically flat since 1970. Maybe we need to pay people more. There are 350 million people in the US. The workers are here. Pay enough, and they will work for you.

Paul said, “Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants. If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you.”

Until the issue of birth right citizenship is addressed for illegals and foreigners, no more guest workers should be imported legally. Fix the problem first.

We have a few tens of millions sucking on the federal tear and doing no work.

If wages rise to pick crops, perhaps they’ll actually do something.

Welfare isn’t allowed for new residents, to my knowledge. Sponsors are supposed to pledge their financial support for ten years, as ten years is how long it will take before they qualify for welfare.

And one reason why young people can't even dream of buying a home, getting mortgages, insurance, having babies, hospitals, medical....Young Americans are screwed because we pander to tens of millions here illegally...

The wages NEVER kept up.

As an American, when an employer says that his illegal was a great employee for 35 years, that only makes me want to sentence him to prison and ponder what that career would have meant to an American family and to worker benefits and wages in the larger picture of 2 generations of this beat down of the American working class, and also what it cost us in quality and technical advancements in those fields.
