There have been over 100 people arrested in the Los Angeles ICE riots, among them twin daughters of a senior Los Angeles official.
According to the LA Sheriff's Department the daughters of Rick Cole, the city’s current Chief Deputy Comptroller have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon.
Lucia Aguilar Cole, who serves as the Community Growth and Economic Innovation Deputy for the Los Angeles City Council, and her sister Antonia were taken into custody.
It’s unclear which was the deadly weapon they allegedly used but they were arrested on Sunday during the time when protestors were throwing rocks and other objects from a bridge onto police vehicles on the 101 freeway.
She’ll get off with a warning. Or a commendation.
