“Ridiculous and even if that happened how would it be relevant what is happening now? “

Here’s the original source for the information that Russia is ready to attack all of Europe.

Reinhard Gehlen (3 April 1902 – 8 June 1979) was a German military and intelligence officer, later dubbed “Hitler’s Super Spy,” who served the Weimar Republic, Nazi Germany, and West Germany, and also worked for the United States during the early years of the Cold War. He led the Gehlen Organization, which worked with the CIA from its founding, employing former SS and Wehrmacht officers, and later became the first head of West Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND). In years prior, he was in charge of German military intelligence on the Eastern Front during World War II and later became one of the founders of the West German armed forces, the Bundeswehr.[1]
...
Following the end of World War II, Gehlen surrendered to the United States Army. While in a POW camp, Gehlen offered FHO’s microfilmed and secretly buried archives about the USSR and his own services to the U.S. intelligence community. Following the start of the Cold War, the U.S. military (G-2 Intelligence) accepted Gehlen’s offer and assigned him to establish the Gehlen Organization, an espionage service focusing on the Soviet Union and Soviet Bloc. Beginning with his time as head of the Gehlen Organization, Gehlen favored both Atlanticism and close cooperation between what would become West Germany, the U.S. intelligence community, and the other members of the NATO military alliance. The organization employed hundreds of former members of the Nazi Party and former Wehrmacht military intelligence officers.[4]

What can I say? If you don’t think that Russia is a serious threat, than you can’t see what everyone else is seeing.

I think it’s the US that’s a threat. A “Karen” Nation with nukes, who thinks their might makes their actions right. Running around the world starting fires in the name of “Democracy” which it has already so stained the name of they’ve brought the entire institution into disrepute to a point where every small country fear the US and their imposition of their version of “freedom”.

“No, we are putting out the fires.”

Sophistry which hides the fact the US has been spreading money around to buy their way into governments and when that doesn’t work, they color revolution them.

“spreading money around to buy their way into governments”

If that is what it takes to counteract the enemies of this country and deal with those who are a threat to the combined security of free and evolved countries then so be it.

I would say something about being careful about glass houses and stones when you rebuke another sovereign nation, could be your country does and has done much worse for much more trivial reasons.

That should apply to Russia who is the real problem here. I find it hard to believe that anyone in this country would think Ukraine wasn’t attacked by Russia and is not the problem. I find that to be incredible and very strange which makes me wonder if you are troll from a Russian troll factory.

The rest of us see Russia attacked in response to NATO moving toward Russia yet again and whispering NATOs special nothings into Z mans ears, BS about joining NATO *and* the EU. The exact kind of thing the west does; Makes lying promises and then feed their victim to the wolves. The rest of us see that Russia was forced into responding by NATOs aggressive moves and sanctions.

NATO is moving toward Russia because Russia is a clear and obvious threat. The rest of the eastern European population were a part of the USSR and know Russia far more than you do. NATO is not a threat to a peaceful Russia. But Russia is not peaceful and in fact never was though Boris Yeltsin was a man of peace. If Russia were just paranoid (exactly what libs said about it in the ‘80’s”) Than that would show that Russia is crazy and even more dangerous. This is an opportunity to deal with Russia and it is a golden opportunity and we should not let is pass.

There is no contradiction. Muscowy fears that its targets are banding together, making it difficult for the Kremlin to conquer
