Russian Forces Reach Donetsk’s Western Border and Enter Dnipropetrovsk, Taking the War Into Another Ukrainian Region

During the Istanbul talks between Russia and Ukraine, when presented with Moscow’s demand that Kiev’s troops must withdraw from territory of the four regions that they have partially conquered (Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhie and Kherson), the Ukrainian delegation reacted with a strong rejection of this point.

It’s been widely reported that, at this point, Russian negotiators warned their foes: ‘Next time, it won’t be four regions, but six or eight’.

That could, of course, be nothing but bragging, except that today the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that units of the 90th Tank Division have reached & crossed the western border of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and that their offensive continues deeper into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

That the Russian offensive has now breached into a brand-new region is a serious setback for the Kiev regime, who really depends on a constant PR effort to keep allies engaged and prevent further deterioration of public morale in their country.

So, at this point, besides the four regions mentioned above, there are also Russian successes in the northern Sumy and Kharkov regions – and now Dnipropetrovsk.

The same argument was articulated yesterday (8) by Dmitri Medvedev: “Kiev was warned: if you don’t acknowledge realities of war in negotiations, you will get new realities on the ground. The shagreen skin of the Bandera state is shrinking. Disinfection against parasites continues”.

Despite talk of peace, the war is stepping up with Russian forces grabbing more territory in Ukraine and Kiev unfurling high-profile drone and sabotage attacks on Russia’s nuclear-capable bomber fleet and, according to Moscow, on railways.

Russia, which controls a little under one-fifth of Ukrainian territory, has taken more than 190 square km (73 square miles) of the Sumy region of northeastern Ukraine in less than a month, according to pro-Ukrainian open-source maps.

Now, according to the Russian defense ministry, units of the 90th Tank Division of the Central Grouping of Russian forces have reached the western frontier of Ukraine’s Donetsk region and are attacking the adjacent Dnipropetrovsk region.”

Ukrainian Khortytsia Group of Forces Spokesperson Colonel Viktor Trehubov stated on June 8 that fighting continued in the Novopavlivka direction but only in Donetsk Oblast.[6] The spokesperson of a Ukrainian brigade operating in the area stated that Russian forces did not cross the Donetsk-Dnipropetrovsk Oblast border.[7] Ukrainian outlet Suspilne reported that Ukrainian General Staff Representative Andriy Kovalev stated that claims that Russian forces crossed the border are "Russian disinformation" and not true.

The number of dead Russians in Ukraine, won't ever be known, because the Russians have cremation devices which undo the bodies of their dead, before the Ukrainians and the world get to count them.

Can't count the dead if you can't find them. But, the Russian people know about their dead family members when they don't get to return, not in body bags and not as dead bodies and, oftentimes as 'defectors' or 'missing in action' or 'unaccounted for'. Putin is such a humane leader; NOT!

As we speak, Russia has lost over a million dead and injured, but reports are that, some 80-90% of the casualties are of the DEAD variety, iow, close to a million dead soldiers. The injured get to die in the hospitals or during delivery back home. Dead men can't talk.

Look behind the vlogger. This provided more defense against possible propaganda.

I’ll tell you what I see. Grocery store shelves are not bare. None of them look like 2021 Walmart during Covid. Those 50 million “military aged men” who fled Russia in 2022? They must have returned. There are plenty in the stores.

I also see no women in mourning black, and I look behind the vlogger, even inside cars going past. These guys vlog 2 or 3X per week. There is no time to stage this stuff, even if a guy vlogging since 2020 would want to do that.

Facts: Russian oil production, in alignment with OPEC+ agreement, is 9 million bpd (and it’s diesel rich Urals, not light Bakken). Consumption as of last year quoted at 3.6 million bpd. Note this is crude. They export some additional pet. products beyond the crude.

Oil is everything. It never made any sense for a country with none to imagine they could do anything but surrender.
