You apparently don’t know enough about South Ossieta to know there were Russian “peacekeepers there.

The history of Abkhazia and South Ossieta is not a pretty one. Very dark stuff. Read up on it sometime, but not before bed. It gives decent people nightmares.

That is the very real conclusion I come too. Putin likely will keep going to line of where the wall once stood if he isn’t stopped.

Putin’s greatness as he views it is in the territory of the old USSR.

LOL, I dispute the "peacekeeper" status of the Russians who were backing the South Ossetian separatists

As to "very dark stuff" read enough of Russian atrocities in the Chechen Wars

They were called “peacekeepers” by the Western press. Sorry if you don’t like it. Complain to them.

Now, if you wanted to argue that Putin lured Saakashvili into a trap, you would have an argument. But you don’t know enough about any of this to make a good argument.

This is simply tiresome. Have a nice day.

Yup, it can be tiresome when you cannot support your allegation that "The Georgians started it by firing on Russian peacekeepers."

Have a nice day.

A pretty good take on the recent history of what is actually going on. I liked it.

War is money making, and money is essential in order to achieve the real end result- power and control. What we have here is what the Bible refers to in Ephesians 6:12: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” I know the left loves to push the idea that Marx came up with something new, but that just ain’t true- this battle is as old as mankind.

The fight has always been between the western left and the eastern left and who is going to be boss. There is no difference between the two. The western (American) left has been jonesing for WW3 since the end of WW2.

I agree with Trump about war. While the leadership of the left wants it, they will not send THEIR precious spawn to fight it. We will.
We won’t make the money. They will.
They will always regard us unwashed masses as inconsequential, just pawns in their game.

The actual war is over. It was won on Calvary. The post-war skirmishes continue and all we can do is fight them, one vote at a time, and on our knees.

Zelensky does not feel he needs to end this war, yet.

He won’t agree to any loss of land, so, well, here we are.

GO UKRAINE! GO RUSSIA!

Obviously Ukraine’s fault for not immediately surrendering to the peaceful Russian immigrants. /s

Even as sarcasm the statement is wrong, as the Russian speaking people in Ukraine have lived there for generations & considered themselves as Ukrainians, not Russians & certain not immigrants.

Z accepted the US TOTAL 30 day ceasefire, which Putin rejected.

Putin has demanded that Ukraine must retreat from land it currently holds, stop all army recruitment and stop all western military and intelligence aid to Ukraine, before the start of any ceasefire.

Some people are silly and simple minded and ignorant and aren’t man enough to admit it when they are wrong.

I’ve noticed the stupidest and most ignorant people are also the rudest and most arrogant.

Have a nice day.

The facts are we and NATO countries have broken our promises and undermined any deals made with Russia for more than 30 years.

We promised the Russians no eastward expansion of NATO and expanded it to their borders. Even Biden in 1997 said Russian wouldn't tolerate NATO expansion toward it.

NATO countries encouraged Ukraine to sign the Minsk accords and renege on it. Both Angela Merkel and François Hollande admitted.

Boris Johnson killed a peace deal reached between Ukraine and Russia in March of 2022.

The Russians have the inherent right form the Lord to protect itself from belligerents, and NATO is definitely to be considered a belligerent since its very creation was to combat the Soviet Union that evaporated, yet still sees Russia as a threat to al of Europe.

If anything Europe is pushing that fear into becoming a reality with its threats to place NATO upon its border. For it only creates fear for Russia that continues to threaten Russia which threw off communism as its form of government.

Neither nation, Ukraine or Russia is perfect, as both are corrupt, but then again the U.S. has become corrupt as well.

If Putin still doesn't trust peace talks, that is the fault of the west who pretended to be interested in the Minsk Accords, only to find out later by Angela Merkle who admitted that they never were going to honor or enact the Minks Accords. That their only involvement was to provide time to arm & train Ukraine's military. The west has already executed a color revolution that ended up as a coup upon the duly elected President. So, why would we expect Russia to just blindly accept a peace talk process even if it is being led by President trump?

As the age old saying goes; Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Ukraine is not exactly a willing participant in seeking peace for it keeps trying to exert its demands upon Russia. Russia has no problem continuing the fight, if their survival depends upon it. The long the fight continues the more likely the goal creeps as well. That creep could lead to a third world war.

The real problem was that this war was desired by the Biden Administration by whomever was actually in control of that administration.

It was a geopolitical ill-conceived blunder of epic proportion for it drove Russia into the arms of China even though they had extreme distrust of China, because they know that China is a threat to them as well, but right now they provide a degree of relief & support.
