PEORIA (25News Now) - Peoria’s River City Rainbow Collective protested Wednesday afternoon outside the Peoria County Courthouse to voice concerns over transgender rights being taken away.
Collective partners said they are protesting the Trump administration’s attack on trans rights, especially when it comes to the Reconciliation Bill. Protester and Collective Partner Zoey Carter said the bill eliminates trans rights and funding for essential programs that assist trans people.
“We are neighbors, friends, and family. We are in your bakeries and schools,” Carter said. “We just want to live, and the government is constantly fighting against us.”

Huh, many moons ago, when I was growing up, the ladies in bakeries wore skirts and men wore pants, and the teachers in my elamentary school were women.
Had a server who dressed like a woman, and had a moustache and fake breasts, left it a 10% tip.

What rights are they losing? Nothing. They think that a special allocation of funds is a right. It isn’t. Healthcare is available to everyone. I have no doubt that people who intentionally slice themselves up, for whatever reason, like girls who cut themselves in the legs with razors, will have specific healthcare needs but everyone else also has specific healthcare needs. Trans should get the same “right” (access) to healthcare as anybody else in the city/state/country.

We cannot pay for every mental illness under the sun. Besides, they do not want help with their mental health. They want us to pay for their mutilation. Screw them!!
