In the swish hotel conference rooms and cafés of the Brussels EU quarter, the indignation was palpable: Why had poor Henrik been singled out?
Henrik Hololei, a gregarious Estonian who had reached the heights of director-general in the EU’s civil service, had been caught accepting freebies from the government of Qatar while his department was negotiating a lucrative aviation deal ― with, ever so coincidentally, Qatar.
It was fine, the European Commission said when the matter came to light in 2023: All his free flights had been signed off by a senior person in the department. Trouble was, the senior person in the department was Hololei.
It caused a bit of stink in Brussels at the time, but chances are that in Europe at large, few people ever heard of it.
And that ― as well as the Commission’s muted response, the remarkable conclusion that no EU rules were broken, the fact that after stepping down Hololei simply made a lateral move to a cushy senior adviser role, and the widespread nothing-to-see-here attitude of the Brussels chatterati ― is the perfect illustration of the creeping sense of impunity infecting the system.

Free flights to the country you are negotiating with is barely a bribe. He had to fly there anyway, right? And those first class cabins are private, he had to keep his documents secure and of course get sleep to arrive well rested otherwise the negotiators will take advantage of his tiredness. And the Rolex watch, well that was to ensure he got to the meetings on time. It’s a different time zone over there, wouldn’t want any confusion. And the car, well, how else was he to get to the airport? And the gold bars? This was to confirm that taxpayers were getting what they paid for in their weight in gold! Haven’t you ever heard that expression? Was a real burden putting those in the overhead bin, too. People should appreciate all he does for the continent.

Hitler was demonic and a manifestation of Satan’s authority at work creating the Beast of the Nazi Third Reich then consolidated into human form much like how anti-Christ will become manifested into human form from a Beast. This occurs only after “The Restrainer” (the Holy Spirit) is no longer holding it in check. If Hitler had available the technology we have today, his efforts would’ve been very closely aligned with what we’re shown in the Bible will come at the close of the age.
But Hitler wasn’t lawless, we know that anti-Christ is called the “lawless one.” Hitler always had evil wicked laws passed for his use. Anti-Christ will also usurp authority instead of working within the boundaries of what is given or enabled. Its this usurping which also explains Christ Jesus unceremoniously and with immediacy throwing him and the False Prophet alive into the Lake of Fire at his return.
