I’ve got a feeling that Trump’s patience will run thin with Putin. As far as what Trump will do, it’s anybodies guess. I think the Ruskies are not the big bad wolf, or bear, that they’re supposed to be. They have nukes but that’s it. They wouldn’t have beat the Krauts if it wasn’t for the lend/lease program that Roosevelt the commie supported Russia with.

No. President Trump is suffering from a case of common sense. Putin is suffering the madness of promoting war. Putin needs to get on the psychiatric couch and tell why his mamma forced him to eat his borscht.

I think the commie/liberal/democrat resistance and lawfare to stymie Trump’s agenda has encouraged both Putin and Zelensky to resist peace.

Conservatives have got to organize to grow our toehold in congress by getting rid of dems and Rinocrats.

You could have added more of the article:

In response to the US president calling Vladimir Putin “crazy”, spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Russian leader was “taking the decisions that are necessary to ensure the security of our country”.

“We are really grateful to the Americans and to President Trump personally for their assistance in organising and launching this negotiation process,” the Kremlin spokesman told reporters.

“Of course, at the same time, this is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions.”

Lend-lease accounted for 4% of the materiel consumed by the Red Army. As for the rest, do a basic force balance analysis. The US military is an expeditional power, Russian is a continental army. There is no chance someone can realistically prevail over Russians in Ukraine.

"Not our circus, not our monkeys."

Ukraine is the size of Texas, and sits 5,000 miles away. There is no national security interest for the U.S. in Ukraine, but there is a national security interest in Texas, which the RAT Party has been steadily working to turn blue. No more proxy wars wasting billions of unaccounted-for tax payer dollars. America First!!

The thing is, why are the Russians firing missiles into civilian areas of Ukraine?
I know, I know, it’s because the can. The reality is that it won’t have much effect militarily. Worse, it will likely once again lead to a ‘Ukrainian’ capability upgrade. All this does is PROLONG the war. Then they insulted Trump on top of that, with the fatigue statement.

Putin’s actions really suggest he isn’t looking for peace. Trump is going to have to make decisions soon, because his assumptions (that the war could be stopped, or that it never needed to happen, or that Putin wants peace, or that Putin wasn’t trying to remake the Soviet empire) may have been flawed. Putin assumes that Trump will walk away, this may be a very bad assumption as well.

I can only say that it was a very interesting move by Putin.

I wonder if Trump got played again by the CIA and the Euros. Yes he had to give a smack in the head to Zel, all that free money and weaponry went to his head. But Putin has to also play his part. If Putin doesn’t want to end the war either, well crap on him. Maybe getting the ME in line will help, put more pressure on Russia. Slash oil prices and cut off the supply of drones. Iran is the #1 supplier to a Russia but hardly the only one. China also supplies drones and drone parts as do we and Western Europe, despite sanctions. This war has gone on long enough now. The lines barely move. Putin needs to take the W and move on.

Pitin is suffering from being a dictator for 25 years and always getting what he wants.
President Trump gave him the rope, and pitin took it. All the yes men surrounding him is not going to help pitin out the Soviet Union back together again

Your point is an interesting one, and prevail is an interesting word.

As long as pitin is willing to continue the fight, and Europe and America do not put boots on the ground and air power in Ukraine you could be right, but to your other point that “4%” was pretty crucial.

With that said, pitin has been able to sustain his war and “advances” because of his piggy bank and vast Soviet legacy stocks, both of which are running low.

Since pitin loves his “history”, revolution in Russia is not something unheard 1917, and neither is economic collapse 1991.

Pitin made great promises to his people, I think 2025 is going to be both economically and militarily challenging for him

Zelensky was promised membership in the EU, which is now on a kind of hold. That’s what gave him whiskey courage to take on Russia. I would look to them for primary fault. They roped senile Biden into involving the US, or maybe they roped/bribed his aides who were actually in charge.
