The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear an appeal brought by 11 Michigan lawmakers seeking to challenge controversial changes to state election law pushed through by progressive groups in 2018 and 2022.
Left-wing groups took millions in ‘dark money’ to run statewide referendums to eliminate all voter integrity laws and make challenging elections extremely difficult. The funds could have come from anywhere, and well-known loopholes in campaign finance law allow ‘layering’ so that foreign governments and left-wing billionaires can donate funds to non-profits and then have those funds eventually transferred to 501(c)4 entities that can engage in ballot initiatives.
Left-wing groups such as “Promote the Vote” raised $23 million in 2022 from dark money to repeal voter integrity laws, and the main group opposing their efforts only raised $4.1 million.
The lawmakers challenging these ballot initiatives, led by State Sen. Jonathan Lindsey (R-Coldwater), had argued that Promote the Vote’s ballot proposals, Proposal 3 of 2018 and Proposal 2 of 2022, unconstitutionally interfered with the state legislature’s authority to regulate federal elections.
Senator Lindsey exclusively told the Gateway Pundit: “Unfortunately the message from the Supreme Court from their action, is that we as legislators have no recourse when our rights are violated.”
Fellow litigant Steve Carra added: “The court seems to feel we don’t have standing, but it’s our responsibility in a Constitutional Republic to set the time, place, and manner of elections, and when that is usurped like this, it clearly erodes the will of the people,” Rep. Steve Carra told the Gateway Pundit. Rep. Carra is one of the signatories to the suit. “I think prop 2 only made it a lot easier to commit systemic voter fraud in Michigan.”

P
Roberts remains a traitor.
The SC needs to be more like the house Dems and drop dead.
They have refused many cases on not having standing but I have never seen they explain who does have standing.
This kind of stuff probably comes from the same logic as "lawyer ethics".
Can we finally say that we through establishing that NO ONE has standing to sue in regard to election fraud?
DJT may be POTUS, but the real powers are just biding their time, and yeah: They got roberts by the short hairs.
The inevitable awaits.
Congress gave up on its primary duty about 15 years ago. They don't do agency appropriations bills anymore. They just pass an omnibus bill to spend, written by armies of unelected bureaucrats and lobbyists.
The judiciary branch gave up on any responsibility to our constitution just as the "Patriot Act" was forced onto us. Ever since they are essentially an HR Department for leftist progressive schemes to launder money using lawfare and NGO's. Their job is to keep the money flowing.
They even said Trump didn’t have standing in 2020.
Michigan is running a scam. They have people that had second homes in Michigan that have died in other states that are still voting. The mail in scam allows this they need to end in mail in ballots unless residents renew voter registration with photo ID every 2 years.
That is what I have always thought.
“They have refused many cases on not having standing but I have never seen they explain who does have standing.”
Illegal aliens. Especially violent gang member illegal aliens. THEY have standing to sue.
Are the Supreme Court rulings on standing constitutional?
More than likely no.
Again.
Most of the USSC is deep state. So this does not surprise me.
PS the legal profession is now, entirely, without standing. Corrupt from top to bottom.
