From the article: "But the Ukrainian president told a press briefing, 'it's our land, we won't withdraw our troops from our territory' the Kyiv Independent reported. He added if Putin demands what he knows Kyiv won't agree to, 'it means that they don't want peace.'
The pissing contest between Zelensky and Putin is never going to end.
Spend your time and energy on America's problems, President Trump. We need you.

Europe wants no part of this. I don’t think they have the stones to stand up to Putin. Not in any real sense, anyway.
To: bimboeruption
Zelenski is projecting. Putin wants to keep what he has won, Zelenski thinks he is getting back what he lost. Thats not the way war works.

That guy’s not really working for the Ukraine. He works for the Germans and their allies.

Well, he’s right. But it doesn’t matter. It’s none of our business. Let the EU sort it out as best they can.

Let's just find a way to sit back and grimace while Russia gives Ukraine what its unelected gay dancer leader wants it to have—a sadomasochist tryst via armies.

I hope Trump realizes that his most successful Russia policies were when he was implementing policies that killed Russian soldiers in combat.
His first term gained much more cooperation from Putin when he killed Russian soldiers in places such as Syria. Killing Russian soldiers is a language Putin understands and the Neo-iso’s fret too much about. It was Trump who provided the lethal aid of javelin missiles to Ukraine. That will bring about a more “Reasonable” Putin.

This little green punk Zelensky must have a Hitler Bunker where he spends 95% of his time-probably no where near the war. I’m surprised no one has ended his ego trip by now.

There’s only a few ways this war ends. Most require “non-elected” leaders to be dead.

Agree. He has less than four years to focus on fixing this country’s problems. Well, actually less time in terms of his political capital owing to the eventual attention shift to 2026. Ukraine is likely to be a long term time consuming intractable problem. People will vote LARGELY on the basis of what he and his party do/accomplish right here in the USA.

Zelensky and the EU want to do everything they can to keep this war going in hopes of drawing us into it.
The land actually belongs to the residents there, who rose up and fought to liberate from a government that was came to power illegitimate and was persecuting them.
