Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis is unusual but not unheard of, doctors say (No cover up defense)

Details released so far about former President Joe Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis suggest his case is uncommon but not unheard of, according to doctors who treat the disease.

Biden, 82, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer on Friday, following the discovery of a nodule on his prostate, his personal office said in a statement. The cancer has spread to the bone, his office said, but seems likely to respond to treatment. ….

…. “Most prostate cancers are slow-growing, but some people can develop a high-risk cancer that happens relatively quickly and can spread quickly,” said Dr. Alon Weizer, a urologist and chief medical officer of Mount Sinai Medical Center. “Is that super common? No. But it can occur and it all depends on the underlying biology of that individual cancer.”

“Small cell prostate cancer is a rare but aggressive form of prostate cancer”

https://www.healthline.com/health/prostate-cancer/small-cell-prostate-cancer

“Less than 2% of all prostate cancers are small cell carcinomas of the prostate (SCCP), according to Cancer Research UK. Most cases are in advanced stages by the time they are diagnosed.”

“Most prostate cancers are adenocarcinomas. Adenocarcinomas are slow growing tumors that develop within prostate gland cells. Small cell prostate cancer instead affects neuroendocrine cells in the prostate.

Also called small cell prostate neuroendocrine carcinoma, this type of cancer doesn’t involve elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels like other prostate cancers. This is because neuroendocrine cells don’t make PSA.”

“Since small cell prostate cancers are often in advanced stages by the time they are found, such cases aren’t considered curable.”

Research suggests that the 5-year survival rate for small cell prostate cancer is 12.5%

Biden mentioned it a number of times in speeches in the past, nothing new.

One doctor said today around 7% of the cases develop quickly.

And how could one of the best cared for officials in the country have casual neglect by the doctors?

Like the MSM wasn’t going to come up with a few quacks that are down down with the cause to say whatever it takes to steer the narrative. SPIT.

Looks like the MSM got their talking points

ABC just posted this on X shortly after The NBC article

Why Biden may not have known about his ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer until recently
Prostate cancer can be found and diagnosed in its later stages, experts said.

It’s unheard of for someone who gets regular medical checks.

"Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis is unusual but not unheard of, doctors say..."

Yeah, deep in the jungle among tribes that have no contact with the public.

A doc already said he had it during his presidency, so this cannot fly as an excuse.

Biden mentioned it a number of times in speeches in the past, nothing new.

Dead wrong. (Biden did mention, back in early 2022, that he had three skin lesions removed, NONE found to be cancerous. NONE melanoma. NO bowel or colon cancer polyps, nor even a colon exam - which should be regularly checked anyway at all ages past 70!)

The type of cancer that Healthline talks about says this:

“ Hormone therapy: While hormone therapies may be used for most prostate cancers, doctors recommend this treatment only for cases of small cell prostate cancers that occur concurrently alongside adenocarcinoma.”

All the reports I’ve heard so far say SloJo’s cancer would respond well to hormone therapy.

The spin has started.

As the Biden wrecking crew was famous for lying seems they lied about his surgery in 2021 where a cancerous polyp was removed from his colon then. If you don’t think the Democrats lie then you are the biggest fool...

He specifically said he had cancer in 2022. How is it you haven’t seen that clip. The cover-up was that he was referring to skin cancer, but as you noted none of the skin lesions were cancerous.
