Russian state TV aired a video of Vladimir Putin warning Donald Trump to stop trying to dictate the terms of a ceasefire with Ukraine. Putin stressed that he plans to finish what he started three years ago and warned that Trump should not push him into a US blueprint for stopping the war.

The Russians did indeed offer a ceasefire in Istanbul. Provided Ukraine withdraws all troops from the oblasts that voted to join Russia.
There was a clear concession by Russia in this in that they did not also demand no re-supply / re-armament of Ukraine during the ceasefire.
Putin IS a Nevertrumper, technically.
Trump has a very simple solution to put an end to the war.
All he has to do is to stop giving globohomo Z all the billions of US free stuffs and let big mouth Z and the EUSSR deal with Putin. Now.
Had he done that 3 months ago and thousands of lives would be spared.

Well, Vlads goals from day one are close to being met. The ethnic Russian territories stay Russian. A Ceasefire is a joke, another Zelensky and western trick to give the Ukies time to rearm, resupply, and refortify.
How can he trust the West after the Minsk agreement treachery? …and Boris Johnson’s intervention in torpedoing the last Peace agreement?
Another 7 percent or so territory to go….the Ukies need to accept they have lost the ethnic Russian provinces before they lose much, much more.

In what way? Putin laid out 4 conditions for peace in Ukraine nearly a year ago. He hasn’t deviated from any of them, not one bit.
It’s not Putin’s fault that none of the Neocons want to take his conditions seriously.
All parties involved in this “negotiation” are constantly posturing and representing their position in an evolving way. If this was recorded two months ago, it may or may not have anything to do with how the situation is currently progressing.
Putin is not serious about peace. He is only interested in grinding Ukraine into oblivion for defying him. He is a very angry and unstable little man. I say suffocate Russia’s economy and let his people deal with him.
