RAMBLING JOE
Powerline ^ | May 16,2025 | SCOTT JOHNSON

Axios has obtained recordings of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s October 8, 2023 interview of President Biden in the Biden version of the documents case. Marc Caputo and Alex Thompson introduce the four-minute audio clip below: “Amid long, uncomfortable pauses, Joe Biden struggled to recall when his son died, when he left office as vice president, what year Donald Trump was elected or why he had classified documents he shouldn’t have had, according to audio Axios obtained of his October 2023 interviews with special counsel Robert Hur.”

Caputo and Thompson observe in their summary: “The recordings appear to validate special counsel Robert Hur’s assertion that jurors in a trial likely would have viewed Biden as ‘a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.'” Pathetic might be more like it.

They also post the clip below from the October 9 session with Marc Krickbaum: “Biden initially can’t recall why he had a classified document on Afghanistan from his time as vice president at his Delaware home. Then, in a rambling description, says he probably kept it for historical purposes.” Biden attorney Bob Bauer instructs Biden at one point: “Your answer is that you don’t know.” The useful Caputo/Thompson summary of the clips is posted here.

“Biden initially can’t recall why he had a classified document on Afghanistan from his time as vice president at his Delaware home."

It doesn't matter WHY.
Saying you "don't know" is not a legal shield.

This stuff isn't for casual use at home.

One of my Grandads owned a Rambler Station Wagon. 4 Door.
All the Grandkids loved riding in it. The hood was huge and made a monstrous SLAM when closing it after checking the oil. It shook the whole car.

Even a liberal like Robin Williams saw it way back in 2009.

Biden attorney Bob Bauer instructs Biden at one point: “Your answer is that you don’t know.”

"I don't recall" is the cunning democratic way to say "I neither conform nor deny" when asked if they committed a crime. Neither do you implicate yourself, nor do you do perjury if proof is found later. How brilliant. Crooked Hillary used it quite effectively during her bleach bit server data deletion fiasco.

Q: Mr. Polticican, did you take money from xyz lobbyists in order to pass xyz bil?
A: I don't recall

Q: Mr Politician, did your family member get xyz benefit indirectly from the CCP before you voted 'yes' on this free trade deal?
A: I don't recall

Q: Billy did you eat all the cookies in the cookie jar?
A: I don't recall

No court can prove what you do or do not remember

I had a friend in college a long time ago. Not the brightest guy. He had seen a lot of TV shows (ex. Perry Mason) where the guilty guy would suddenly stand up in court and shout at the judge: “Yes! I killed her! And I’d do it again too!”

My friend formed the opinion that no one could be sent to jail unless they had confessed to the crime. He was very confident that he could do anything at all, and never serve time in jail. Because he had no intention of ever confessing. Brilliant!!

In the same way, I suppose, if you say that you don’t recall doing anything bad, I guess they can’t ever punish you.

In our case, DOJ had to tell a federal judge by May 20 what they planned to do with the Hur tapes. DOJ told the court that they were locked in a SCIF.

Axios either broke into a SCIF and got the tapes or was given them. 🤔

Axios was a key player in the Biden cover up.

In the 50's and 60's, Dad's hated seeing you pick up their daughters for a date in a Rambler. The front seats reclined "bed style".

But I digress.....

I heard Ted Cruz say that he didn’t meet or speak to Biden for the entire four years. Listening to the audio, it is obvious Biden was even worse than what we saw in the carefully controlled cameo appearances.

They had to keep a very tight circle around Biden to keep him from having any contact with anyone but immediate family and the closest co-conspirators to keep people from realizing just how bad it was. They may not have known the extent of it, but the WH press knew. Tapper knew. All the media knew he was suffering from dementia. The media helped with the cover-up.

This was a treasonous conspiracy. Charges should be brought. People should be jailed. Heads should roll.

And every pardon should be revoked.

It didn’t begin with Hillary. Ronald Reagan used it when questioned during the Iran Contras investigation. And to your point has probably been used before that.
