Republicans are taking flak from Democrats over fake Medicaid cuts in the Big Beautiful Bill that will likely be repealed before cuts that don't begin until 2029 actually kick in. So if Republicans are going to take heat for cutting Medicaid, they might as well actually cut it.

The “cuts” to Medicaid in the Big, Beautiful bill are mainly found in new work requirements that don’t actually kick in until 2029, and even then are subject to waivers. That leaves plenty of time to cancel the cuts before they ever take place. In other words, the cuts are fake!

No he is not. He wants people to accept cuts, to the determent of what Trump has built which is a return to serving the American citizens regardless of any differences.

Trump is adamant that there will be no cuts, and he will not budge from that stance one iota.

I like a lot of what he has said, but on this one he is way off base with his comment on this topic. Get rid of the fraud & corruption, but do not deprive people off working people from having some access to health care.

I am not saying the position is wrong, only that a self-referring source has no credibility. Try again.

Propaganda about fake cuts blows over. Actual cuts will not.

A fundamental change to the system that reduces the cost of health care and moves us closer back to a free market system is needed before cuts will be accepted.

Medicaid is just full of freebies, so it is very prone to fraud and abuse.
The recipients have usually lot of time and no co-pays so they are clogging the system.
Apparently, lots of people are going to doctor just to have somebody to talk to!

Yes he was the first person I heard who was really depressed that the USA is no longer a manufacturing economy like it was. His opinion is that nation that makes “things” is one with a healthy economy.
