Putin proposes direct talks with Ukraine in Istanbul on May 15, 'without preconditions
Interesting. No mention if Trump. You mean they’ll settle it by themselves? Trump’s the big elephant (not) in the room.
To sum up
He offered to restart talks that Boris Johnson sabotaged in 2022 right before they were close to a deal
The “root causes” of the conflict must be addressed he said
This is really nothing new but throws the ball back to Z and his European handlers
Putin offers nothing of substance. Just recycled gaslighting talking points from years ago. And more genocidal mass murder
in the historical Russian way, of course.
Russia was ready to end the war and withdraw its troops in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality just a few months after the invasion began and was refused partly because of ex-British PM Boris Johnson, who pressured Kyiv into continuing the fight, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party confirmed in a recent interview, published on Friday, November 24th.
Yes
Plus he didn’t accept the 30 day cease fire
Why should any country have to be “neutral” in order to avoid attack by those murderous pigs.
Putin got the hundreds of thousands of Russians dead that he so richly deserved. But they didn’t deserve dying for nothing.
And what would have happened to poor little Russia if it didn’t attack? Absolutely not a damn thing.
And is Ukraine “neutral” as a result? Absolutely not.
Wonder why these announcements are coming out at 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. Moscow and Kiev time?
Seems he is just stalling to avoid sanctions.
>>Interesting. No mention if Trump. You mean they’ll settle it by themselves?
Maybe they’ll just enter the octagon and resolve it that way.
Seems he is just stalling to avoid sanctions.

Plus a great PR move
Many on X don’t understand that Russia has always insisted on direct talks with Ukraine that directs the root cause of the problem since Boris Johnson talked Ukraine out of a deal in 2022
They think this is something new
>>Interesting. No mention if Trump. You mean they’ll settle it by themselves?

Notice how Trump hasn’t said anything yet
I think he knows that Ukraine and Europe will reject this since there is no cease fire
Seems he is just stalling to avoid sanctions.
Of maybe he’s just Stalin.
(Get it, Stalin? Bwahahahaha......Ok, I’ll stop now!)
There is truth to the statement Putin is just stalling to avoid sanctions.
I mean what other ploy does Putin of why he would consider to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine that HE created?
“Putin offers nothing of substance. Just recycled gaslighting talking points from years ago. And more genocidal mass murder in the historical Russian way, of course.”
Thank you for your truth-filled comment
The stinking rotten Eutopeans will try to scuttle the deal. Grifters.
“Or maybe he’s just Stalin.
(Get it, Stalin? Bwahahahaha......Ok, I’ll stop now!)”
Good one, thanks! ROTFL
That makes Boris Johnson responsible for all the deaths in 33 months of continued war.
Russia wants to restart these negotiations
I should point out Russia still insisted on these demands with the US back in the March talks
2022 talks
In terms of territorial concessions, Ukraine was expected to cede Crimea and the Donbas region outright, while also accepting the ongoing occupation of areas then under Russian control until Moscow deemed that its conditions had been fully met. Kyiv would also have been forced to grant Russian the status of official state language and adopt a range of laws targeting Ukrainian religion, history, and national identity that harked back the russification policies of the Soviet and Tsarist empires.
The most detailed and revealing segment of the draft peace treaty dealt with Ukraine’s demilitarization. Russia called for the Ukrainian army to be drastically reduced to a skeleton force of just fifty thousand personnel. This was approximately one-fifth of the prewar total and a tiny fraction of Ukraine’s current military, which is believed to number around one million soldiers. Meanwhile, tight restrictions were to be imposed on the quantity of armor Ukraine could possess, the types of missiles the country could develop, and the size of the Ukrainian Air Force.
