Oh goody (said sarcastically). I was raised a Roman Catholic, but have never practiced any religion as an adult. I’m deeply skeptical of all organized religions. So I keep wondering why such a fuss is made about popes when every organized religion has its own leader. Is it because popes basically ruled Europe for over 1000 years?
