Report: Trump ‘Disappointed’ in Netanyahu, Will Go It Alone in Middle East
Breitbart ^ | 05/08/2025 | Joel B. Pollak

A report in Israel’s Israel Hayom says that President Donald Trump is “disappointed” in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has decided to make his next moves in the Middle East without him.

The report, published in Hebrew and citing two sources close to Trump, would seem to corroborate the observation that Trump has cut Netanyahu out of his decision-making process on major policy steps.

Last month, Trump surprised Netanyahu by announcing that the U.S. would begin “direct” talks with the Iranian regime over a new nuclear deal. And this week, he surprised Israel again by announcing that the U.S. had reached a separate ceasefire with the Houthi rebels in Yemen — who said they would still attack Israel.

Not buying it either.

I would “buy” leaving ancient warring tribes to themselves. In fact I’d pay good money for it, so my daughter doesn’t have bills and make enemies she didn’t earn.

Why are you not buying it? It would not be the first time that Trump and Netanyahu have had major issues with each other.

Both have to have their own country in mind and one does not, and should not, answer to the other.

Not buying what, the fact the IDF groomed Mike Waltz who then shared US war plans with Netanyahu without Trump’s approval?

Trump is ALWAYS in-charge.

An AI video of his Gaza plans features Israel's Netanyahu
serenely sipping a cocktail on the inviting "Gaza beach."

A most shocking finding was a NYPost report that a majority of American Muslims don’t oppose Trump’s plan
to transform the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East.” A whopping 84% of Democrats opposed it.

Tiny Israel, a sliver of land in the vast Mideast, is a staggering
supplier to the world. In 2023, the top exports from Israel were:
<><>Integrated Circuits ($9.99 Billion),
<><>Diamonds ($9.13 Billion),
<><>Broadcasting Equipment ($3.34 Billion),
<><>Medical Instruments ($2.56 Billion),
<><>Refined Petroleum ($2.47 Billion).
<><>and more.

The United States imports a variety of goods from Israel; top categories include:
<><>electrical and electronic equipment,
<><>pearls, precious stones,
<><>metals, and coins,
<><>optical and photographic equipment,
<><>technical, and medical apparatus
<><>pharmaceutical products,
<><>and packaged substances used as meds, drugs, or remedies.

Israel’s top export destinations were
<><>China $24.5 billion,
<><>United States ($20.3B),
<><>Ireland ($4.22B),
<><>Germany ($2.75B),
<><>Hong Kong ($2.46B).

In 2017, Netanyahu urged China “to assume its rightful place on the world stage.”
”Israel is your perfect junior partner,” he added. “I believe this is a marriage made in heaven.”

Biden confirmed Israel owed the US $24 Billion via 600 active Foreign Military Financing weaponry tabs. Israel enriches itself w/ US military tax dollars; the only recipient permitted to use US aid to buy from its own thriving defense firms.

US tax dollars to Israel reportedly total $4 billion per year. But Israel is close-mouthed as to where these tax dollars are spent; the US State Dept is complicit in the secrecy.

Israel offers its citizens many free or govt subsidized social services, including
<><>universal health insurance,
<><>old-age pensions,
<><>support for individuals with disabilities
<><>and various services for single parents, and immigrants.

Keep in mind that Donald answers to the distant sound of his own drummer, and while his path can often times connect with and run parallel with others, for some distance, he continues to listen to that distant drummer.

Trump’s path and that of Netanyahu may once again fully converge, but for the moment, other opportunities for confronting the Iranian ayatollahs beckon.

Trump wades in where angels fear to tread.

President Trump reportedly told Israel to hold off on plans to launch a military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities after intel provided by DNI Tulsi Gabbard.

This comes as the US is currently giving diplomatic talks a chance.

According to The New York Times, citing administration officials, Israel had developed plans to carry out strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as early as next month. The proposals, which included a combination of bombing campaigns and on-the-ground raids, aimed to disrupt Iran’s ability to create a nuclear weapon.

Netanyahu was reportedly pushing for US support, with most strike options requiring American military assistance to ensure success and defend against any Iranian retaliation. While some American officials were on board—Trump ultimately opted against endorsing the operation (for now). Tulsi Gabbard reportedly played a key role and presented new intel that warned a US-Israeli strike could ignite a broader regional war. Despite this, some US military officials and other Trump administration appointees were still supportive of the strikes.

For years, military planners have acknowledged that wiping out Iran’s nuclear program would be a pain in large part because some of their key facilities—like the Fordow enrichment plant—are buried inside mountains. These fortified sites are designed to withstand conventional airstrikes, meaning the US would likely have to use specialized bunker-busting bombs that Israel does not have.

Despite this, Israel has spent years undermining Iran’s nuclear ambitions through sabotage and targeted assassinations. Between 2010 and 2012, Iranian nuclear scientists were dropping like flies in operations widely attributed to the Mossad—one killed by a magnetic car bomb in Tehran, another shot by gunmen on motorcycles. In 2020, Iran’s top nuclear boss, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was killed by a remote-controlled turret hidden in a Nissan truck.

Trump’s tariff poses “a major challenge” to Israel’s economy. Israeli authorities contacted the US “in order to guarantee Israel’s exemption and/or reduce the taxes imposed”. In 2024, the United States had a trade deficit with Israel of some $7 billion, according to data from the US Department of Commerce.

OTOH, China is Israel’s 2nd largest trading partner,
with total trade value reaching a whopping $24.45 billion.

Speaking before a gathering from both countries, Israeli prime minister Netanyahu in March 2017 encouraged China “to assume its rightful place… on the world stage.”

“We are your perfect junior partner for that effort,” Netanyahu added. “…I believe this is a marriage made in heaven.”

BACKSTORY-—Trump and Biden restricted sensitive technological exports to China. As a result, China turned to cooperative Israel. China’s direct investment in Israel’s IT industry, especially in chips and semiconductors, now has increased.

In 2017, Israeli PM Netanyahu said China accounts for one-third of the investment in Israeli high technology, which includes US military technology the US shares w/ Israel, its strongest ally. In the ’90s, Israel sold military equipment and technologies to China, including the Harpy missile system.

This incident chilled relations between the United States and Israel, with Israel being suspended from its status as Security Cooperative Participant in the Joint Strike Fighter program. However, on 6 November 2005, Israel stated that it has been re-admitted into the program.

The US had to pressure Israel to stop sharing US military technology w/ China. Yet Israel still doesn’t restrict China from acquiring dual-usage technologies that could have military implications against the US.

A succession of US administrations warned Israel about its growing tie with China, sharing concern about China using Israel as a backdoor to access sensitive technologies from the US.

The most vocal objection to Sino-Israeli ties came from the Trump administration. When former Secy of State Mike Pompeo visited Israel in 2019, he warned Israelis that the CCP “engages in spying through its commercial state-owned enterprises and presents risk through its technology systems. Pompeo said China’s actions posed a risk.

Unfortunately, Israel largely brushed aside the warnings. Like many other countries, China’s massive market has enticed Israel. Plus, the Israeli government hopes China’s good relationships with Arab nations may help Israel.

Netanyahu was working on a Sino-Israeli free trade agreement and planned to visit China. But China’s siding w/ Hamas after the October 2024 attack alerted Israel’s leaders to the reality that Communist China’s relationship with Israel is purely transactional.

Israel Hayom is one of very few media outlets in Israel that is NOT far Left.

Popular outlets like Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel and i24 are exactly like NY Times, Washington Post, and the alphabet networks in the US.

This might be for Iran’s benefit. If you were going to attack, then you would not want to seem unified to the enemy.

I thought that it might be disinformation for Iran’s benefit. If the attack is planned, then you want the enemy to be under the impression that there is not resolve. However, it might be wishful thinking. I don’t trust any media source, especially Israeli ones (I have friends who have been in the Israeli media for decades who know how the system works).

Due to the far-left politicians and morons in the “prostitutions of higher learning”, we’re having to start fighting the muzzie terrorists on our own soil. The new average “college student” is a piece of meat with two eyes.

Everyone sees Trump as being very Israel friendly. So now he is stiff arming them in order to talk and negotiate with Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Netanyahu wants the USA to at least keep the option open of the USA participating in the bunker buster bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities. In so many words, Israel has been told that this is off the table. And even (big maybe) that if Israel tries this on its own , that Trump admin will squeal on them. US intel has many ways to see if Israel is prepping to waste Iran’s nuclear installations.

No more Houthi assaults on shipping is Trumps first goal so that he can brag about this.. If Houthis still firing a few missiles into Israel, say twice a month, then tough luck.

Trumps larger goal is to be the famous peace maker in the middle east, between Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran. This means peace between Jews, Sunnis and Shiites. For us to have more influence there, with Russia and China having less.

Netanyahu is very unhappy. Because with Trump peace scheme, Iran will still be developing nukes and the missiles to deliver them to Tel Aviv and other locations in Israel.
