Maybe Tim Cook will move manufacturing to the US or at least to the Americas if he is hell bent on not making stuff in the US.
Meanwhile the CIA is I am sure on the side of Pakistan like they have been forever because Pakistan will do what they are paid to do while India goes its own way which has been angering American globalist imperialists since Truman. I believe China is cozier with Pakistan.
I have no ill will towards China, India or Pakistan. What I advocate is often just a mere matter of self-preservation.
I hope that the US can calm Pakistan and India down as it did during the last flareup that comes to mind.
None of this is going to happen. India and Pakistan will lob a few missiles at each other and then things will go back to normal - at least until the next Pakistani act of terrorism. India had to respond militarily but it can’t afford to be seen as a nation at war or unstable - it’s trying to draw business and manufacturing. The Indians have no incentive to engage in major hostilities - they view Pakistan as a nuisance and if Pakistan didn’t periodically killi Indians they’d forget Pakistan exists.
My work is going to require me to go to Bangalore next month - I’d be amazed if everything isn’t back to normal by then.

It is no secret that we have strongly supported Pakistan since the Partition and have had strained relations with India for most of that time.
They’re already into it. Too late. Either they let the Belt & Road initiative go to hell, and let their weapons systems be discredited because they aren’t up to snuff in battle, or they go into the India/Pakistan war that’s brewing, sort of like Kaiser Wilhelm did for his cuz Franz Josef when the arch duke was assassinated in Serbia.

Not hard to do, if you analyze the geopolitics and economics of it. It’s not a precise formula a la Harry Seldon, but it’s spot on in this case.

Well, it could be. We’ll see. But it wouldn’t have been that hard to throw in the word “could” into the headline. The headline suggests a degree of certainty that the author doesn’t have unless he has access to tapes of the Xi making attack plans with his Generals.
I did not blame America for the conflict between India and Pakistan by the way. I just accused the CIA of being on the wrong side of this, which the US has done from the outset.
