Ukraine fired drones at Moscow days before Vladimir Putin was set to host world leaders at a Victory Day parade through the capital.
Russia was forced to cancel Second World War anniversary events in occupied Crimea because of security concerns.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, has said he cannot guarantee the safety of delegates attending the march through Moscow on Friday, which will be attended by Xi Jinping, the Chinese leader.
...It came as Ukrainian forces launched a second incursion into the Russian region of Kursk, breaking across the border and destroying bridges.
On Monday Kyiv fired dozens of drones at Russia with Moscow’s mayor reporting four intercepted near the city. The attack temporarily disrupted air travel at Domodedovo airport for about one and a half hours.
Putin declared a three-day ceasefire for May 8 to 10, marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet and Allied victory, while Mr Zelensky called for a more substantial halt to hostilities.
The Ukrainian president called Russia’s announced ceasefire a “theatrical production” and instead insisted on a 30-day ceasefire, saying: “An unconditional ceasefire is the model proposed by the Americans. We are following it.”

Crimea along with the rest of Ukraine voted for independence from the collapsing Soviet Union in 1991. It had the status of autonomous republic within and Kyiv allowed Russia to lease the port of Sevastopol as a base for the Black Sea Fleet.
More than half the population of Crimea was Russian, mainly because the original majority population of Crimean Tatars were deported under Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin in 1944.
Tatars were only able to return to Crimea from exile from 1989 as the Soviet Union fell apart, and they now make up about 15% of Crimea’s population.
NATO is attacking Moscow with drones. I hope the world rejects NATO for what it is, a terrorist organization.
That said, I don’t care about Putin’s parade etc. I care about the gleeful, pointless destruction and death that Zelensky and his handlers in NATO promote.
Obviously, Zelensky needs the war to continue so he fired on Moscow.
Putin refused Trump's treaty proposal after Zelensky first refused key terms of the treaty: 'Because Zelensky refused to agree to international declaration that territory that Russia occupies, including Crimea and Oblasts which were independent and under attack by Western Ukraine, becomes part of Russia.'
It takes two to tango; I think Putin knows Zelensky/NATO would return to fighting for occupied territory and Putin wants the fighting to stop.

What the West has is a Zelinski problem. Not one western country condemned Ukraine for threatening to attack world leaders in Moscow.

Leftists or Marxists like Biden/DNC or Zelinski/Ukraine have no limites on what they will do. We have watched the EU and US become police states, trying to eliminate all political opposition to supporting Ukraine, and banning political oppnoents. We have become one with Ukraine.
Trump Admin has told Zelinski to not do anything to disrupt Moscow during the period of the parade.
In the past week Ukraine has lost 2 HIRMARS systems on different days, for total loss in 5 days of six HIMARS systmes.
Ukraine is fighting a propoganda war. The Russians are advancing on every front every day now. Ukraine is going to be a differnet map by the end of July. Trump was trying to prevent Russia from wearing out the AFU and talking more land and resources.
Zelinski and the Bandara NAZIs are going to make it impossible for Russia not to conquer all of Ukraine to rid the world of them.
The best part is that there are rumors that North Korea is sending more equipment and even men to fight in Ukraine. Who could have imagined that North Koreans would be soon fighting in Ukraine, and the Chinese protecting the border of Belarus from Poland/NATO.
Trump knows this is getting out of hand for conventional warfare by the west.
Ukraine is in the FA phase, the FO will come after.
We're getting nothing out of the minerals deal until Ukraine the war ends. The quicker Ukraine is defeated and we can start the process of getting some money back from what is left of it, the better.

The West is not just 'supplying weapons' to Ukraine.
NATO forms the core (command and technology) of the Ukraine's war effort. Combined NATO military leaders are driving the war strategy. In addition, NATO technology must be employed for targeting information and technical expertise/war fighting. Further, Western money keeps Ukraine before the world as a country even though Ukraine is a welfare state, incapable of supporting itself. Really, Ukraine has become an obviously hollowed-out puppet in every sense of the word.
NATO poured its resources, as did Biden, into the Ukraine in a bid to overthrow Russia, and they would not bet-the-farm (their survival) on Zelensky's military expertise.Therefore it is NATO attacking Russia, and Putin knows it. When Zelensky cackled and bragged that Ukraine now has missiles which could reach Moscow, Putin made public annoucements, advising the world that Western technology is required to launch those missiles and if they were launched, Western assets, regardless of where they were located, would be targeted in return. This is what NATO hopes to trigger to get the war they 'need' to try to force Putin out of office.
So now, since North Korea and China are not driving Putin's war effort and Russia is not reliant on them to supply satellite technology for targeting, there's no justification for 360 degrees of war as you propose.
Obviously, as President Trump has pointed out, the United States State Department (and CIA) overthrew the Ukraine in 2014 and have since armed it and provoked the war in progress for the purpose of overthrowing Russia (install their own puppet) and therefore adding a nuclear superpower to it's One World Government aspirations. After Ukraine's puppet masters installed their leaders, built an army, dug fortificaitons, and were ready to fight, ignored Russia's objections to their bio warfare labs upwind of Russia etc., they then announced Ukraine would be joining NATO. This limit which they crossed was a known red line for Russia for decades. They intentionally made Putin believe they were going to have access to his borders (Park NATO missiles within range of Moscocw) to get Putin to act before they actually launched.
In the same manner, Zelensky begged for pro-active missile strikes on Moscow.
