Misleading headline. Not in Yellowstone National Park. Nearby, but not in the park.
But yes, Yellowstone has lots of ways to kill you, including vehicular accidents.
ping
My wife wants to make a Yellowstone run soon. The Old Faithful parking lot is 186 miles from my driveway. We visited often in the 2003 to 2010 time frame. The old asphalt road will have a scorch there for a season.
“It remains unclear what caused the deadly crash....”
Wouldn’t surprise me if texting had something to do with it.
God bless the victims, either texting or DUI, IMO.
Ping to what?
It wouldn’t surprise me if there is no cell phone coverage in that area.
Daily Mail knowingly turned this into click bait by lying about the location.
Where was Smoky the Bear? He wants you to prevent forest fires, some of them caused by burning crashed vehicles.
I stayed at the Henry’s Lake Park for a week about 2 years ago. That stretch of road, while pretty straight, is quite confusing. After a week of being there, I was still worried about what everyone was going to do at the Park turnoff.
Additionally, a guy got killed by Griz at that park a few years back, walking the open field nature trail. Wild!
But isn’t there a slice of the Park in Idaho, supposedly where you can’t be prosecuted because no one lives there and therefore no possibly of a jury trial?
If the bears don’t get you, the buses will.
In pop culture and Taylor Sheridan’s imagination, yes. Go there and murder someone, or start selling cocaine on the side of the road and see how fast they figure out the legalese to arrest and prosecute you.
There was no law whatsoever to allow the US to prosecute the Blackwater guys at Tahir Square. No status of forces agreement, nothing. So they sent the FBI over, did an investigation and prosecuted them anyway.
Another recent example, nothing in the Alien Enemies act allows courts to review the President’s designation and the method he uses to remove them. Under the act the courts are only allowed to hear cases US citizen bring AGAINST an enemy alien.
Today we are basically under a hard authoritarian government. They can do anything they want, and we must follow the rules meticulously. For us, strict obedience, for them, stroke of the pen, law of the land.
Isaiah Moreno, 25 was the driver of the pickup. Bet it’s gonna turn out to be a Biden migrant...
Or what is more common in my rural area, two lane highways with drivers too impatient to wait for it to be safe to pass slower vehicles.
NO BET
MAYBE TRUCK ALSO STOLEN???
