Ukraine 'cannot win war', JD Vance claims in chilling statement

US Vice President JD Vance has claimed that Ukraine will be unable to win the war if military action continues.

During the podcast show the Charlie Kirk Show, Vance said that that Kyiv "won't win the war" if military action continues, during what America has described as a "critical week" for peace talks.

The Vice President also said the US could still walk away from the negotiating table, saying, "I can't say with 100% certainty that we're going to be able to do it."

"If this doesn't stop, the Ukrainians aren't winning the war," the VP added. "It has to stop. It is the policy of this administration that it stops."

This comes as President Trump is rumoured to be preparing to withdraw from peace negotiations with Ukraine and Russia, according to the Financial Times.

A European official told the publication that Trump is "setting up a situation where he gives himself excuses to walk away and leave it to Ukraine and us [Europe] to fix."

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky dismissed Russia's most recent three-day ceasefire offer as just "another attempt" to deceive both the international community and the U.S..

He stated, "Russia has consistently rejected everything and continues to manipulate the world, trying to deceive the United States." According to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Russia has offered to engage in direct discussions with Ukraine unconditionally. Yet, Mr Lavrov criticized Kyiv's previous proposal for a 30-day ceasefire as effectively being a condition itself.

These statements were announced via Telegram amid a surge in diplomatic efforts and calls for a break in the fighting before key international meetings. Through this stance, Russia seems to be trying to pin the blame on Ukraine for stalling peace talks while it continues its offensive military actions.

As I’ve akready said but will repeat just once:

It’s always been A or B:

A: Americans are tired of funding Ukraine, so Zelensky can either get money/troops from elsewhere or agree to terms, and since Putin won’t quit funding his side of the war, either cede territory to get him to stop (as he won’t attack a NATO nation outside of Ukraine but will keep attacking Ukraine unless land is ceded), or it’s:

B: Zelensky can get Western Europe to fund the war and send troops to help him.

Since half of B will soon be evaporated, and Western Europe doesn’t want to shift funding from their social welfare programs to fund Ukraine, it’s Zelensky and Ukrainian’s fight alone or Zel agrees to A.

No more proxy wars anywhere.

The longer it goes on, the smaller Ukraine will be when it’s over.

Aw hell, just give them a handful of tactical nukes. That’ll get them ol’ boys right back in the fight.

Okay, I get it. We don't want Putin (ex-KBG) taking over Europe in his wish to rebuild his beloved Soviet Union.

However, I don't give one shit about the Ukraine, Crimea, or others. I have no interest in Europe anymore, especially the UK, since they have let in every damn Muslim and other bad actors. You can actually get arrested in the UK for saying or writing certain words. There is no longer any guise of "free speech" in the UK and other European nations. The only one that seems to want to control their sovereignty is Finland, who is deporting record amounts of the bad actors above. I might be behind on this issue.

False. Russian revanchists of Putin’s ilk want control of all of Ukraine and Ukrainains in one form or another. They’ve said so themselves many times and are happy to kill anyone who disagrees.

If Napoleon couldn’t do it, and Hitler couldn’t do it, why in God’s name would anyone think that Ukraine could do it, even with the U.S. once again fighting an economy-killing proxy war with Russia.

How about the retarded individuals in this country who want to bleed this country’s economy dry by depleting our own weapons surplus, as well as blowing billions of unaccounted-for taxpayer dollars, funding a never-ending proxy war with Russia, while cheering on the politicians on both sides of the aisle that have been getting richer through their investments in the military industrial complex?

Russia has basically said no cease fire discussions until Ukraine gives up the 4 Donbas areas, Russia continues to advance in all 4 and that pace is picking up this week

Russia has no incentive to a cease fire

Ukraine should have agreed to the 2022 arrangement that Boris Johnson talked them out of

I have yet to hear from any Zeeper or other neocon what the alternative is

Short of western troops in Ukraine , the Russians will continue to advance in Ukraine unless their cease fire conditions are satisfied

Ukraine has no cards - Donald J Trump

The GDP of Russia is about that of Italy. Western Europe could field multiple times as many troops if on a war footing, and has an industrial capacity to far out produce Russia, but they can not do this today. It takes a couple of years to transition to war production.

I have little sympathy for Western Europe. We protected for years with our men, war machines, and much treasure from the USA taxpayer. They used us, they criticized us, they laughed at us and thought we were idiots.

Tell them politely we will maintain our nuclear umbrella for the next 5 years but then you are on your own. You know how to make fine thermonuclear weapons, aircraft, artillery, tanks etc. Do it or perish.

The GDP of Russia is about that of Italy.

That is not the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP).
